We moved here from Va Beach and have been looking for a GOOD seafood restaurant...a friend at work told us about Captain... Jerry's....OH MY GOODNESS!!! From the young man who took my order over the phone, to the young lady who rang up my order...veryfriendly and courteous! And the food....delish! We had broiled scallops, fried flounder and fried shrimp....felt like i was backhome! Be sure and be hungry, because you will get plenty to eat of each portion!! First time visiting here. I wanted Captain Ds but there isn't one near... Girl taking order was impatient. Portion sizes are... large, but not a lot of sides. They only have carry-out option no dine in. Also saw that they have a sign posted that theycharge if you use a card, probably why we saw a couple of people with cash in hand walking up. We went in for Sunday lunch.Wasn't crowded & the wait wasn't long to receive our food. The onion ring shaped hush puppies are brilliant & delicious. Cookedperfectly, crispy, seasoned well. I had fries, fried okra, shrimp & catfish & it all tasted the same.. lol.. so yeah..everything was cooked perfectly though. Tried my husband chicken strip & they tasted the same as well.. Meal was cheaper than$40 for both of us. Overall, It's ok for some quick fried seafood. Maybe I'll try something different. Read more

The level of mad I am right now. Please looks at my plate and tell me if this looks like a large to you all. This was a large I... had not took any thing out my box because I could not wait to get home and take a picture for this review. I have been cominghere since I was a child and the owners kids was kids. They are grown now and running the place if that lets you know how long Ihave been a customer. I will not be one now. Reason why the increase in price and you never decrease the price when the diningroom was closed and you just had cooks and stage taking orders. Now another increase and still no dining room. I wish I had apicture from another restaurant I go to call captain Steve?s in Fort Mill, SC and Harrisburgs, NC. The put your large to shame.When they increase price I don?t care before they give you enough to eat on for at least two days.
