A very easy 5 stars! If you enjoy Greek food, Greek pastries, fresh ground coffee and espresso, and a nice selection of teas... then you'll be more than satisfied! They even have beer and wine! Breakfast, lunch or dinner it doesn't matter! If you can'ttell, I was really surprised by this spot and it's selection. If your in the mood for Greek, or just some desserts and coffeethen you can't go wrong choosing this place. Bonus- The nice man who used to run George's on Yadkin is related to the owner andis helping out here! It makes sense why the Gyro's are so tasty! Read more

It is hard to find authentic Greek food in Fayetteville, and FINALLY, I have found a go-to spot! Cafe Opa is a small little... restaurant with a fantastic menu selection of coffee drinks, Greek food, breakfast food, and pastries. We tried the pistachiowhich was authentic and excellent. It was served with Greek green beans and a fresh Greek salad. We ordered a side of the spicymeatballs. They have the true spice seasonings of Greek meatballs so if that is something you do not like, this may turn youoff, but we loved them. They were meaty, flavorful, and moist with a tasty red sauce topping. My husband ordered the breakfastham, bacon, and cheese pita? and WOW! It was wicked good. The bacon and ham were cooked crispy and went perfect with the meltedcheese and pita. We finished with some of the handmade pastries and we weren?t disappointed. We can?t wait to go back. Beadvised. The service is a little on the slow side. It is a small staffed restaurant serving fresh, made to order food. Thisisn?t a place to go in a hurry, but is worth the wait if you like Greek, made from scratch food. Also, they haven?t updatedtheir hours online, so you may want to confirm what days they are open with a phone call. Read more

We were excited to try a place we haven't been too before around Fayetteville and this was new for us. The staff was friendly... but you could hear a woman in the back (assuming a manager or owner) in the kitchen yelling at her employees(if she wasn'tyelling, she was very loud). I heard her make a comment about what I ordered to one of the other staff, complaining that I gotover easy eggs instead of just sunny side up. Then, we get our order and it was made wrong. I let the girl know it was made withitems I asked to be removed but I explained I'd still eat it. I asked if salsa was free or if I had to pay for it, then she wentto see if they had any first. She comes back with a side cup of salsa and said I had to pay 55 cents for it. I didn't want to berude because she already brought it, so my husband gave her the dollar. We had to ask for our son's apple sauce that wassupposed to come with his kids meal. The worst for me was my fruit waffle. It said to pick a fruit to have on top so I choseStrawberries. The menu didn't specify if it were compote or fresh, so I assumed fresh but I understood if I got compote, thatwas okay too. Well, they were thawed out frozen Strawberries that were turning brown and mushy (in photo, which doesn't do itjustice) I couldn't eat it,I thought I could just eat the waffle but it was tough. Same with my husbands pancakes, too tough, and they gave him one 2 tbs serving to-go packet of syrup for his 3 pancakes and one little butter. We litterally ended upthrowing away over half our food. Normally, I understand that places charge you for cheese on your eggs, side salsa, and milksubstitutes in your lattes, etc., but what got me was that everything all together cost us $45 before military discount, (but ofcourse we tipped so it was still over $45) and it was all served on paper plates and with plastic forks. Like, it's not a finedining restaurant, It's a cafe beside a foodlion, but they expect you to pay as if you're at ihop or somethi Read more

Delicious! Has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Fayetteville. They have EXCELLENT coffee/lattes and are... serving them at all hours. This is great as a night shift worker to have a good meal and an 10/10 strong and tasty iced lattebefore work. My favorite dishes are for dinner the Chicken Delight, breakfast the Mediterranean pita or the Cafe OPAbowl. Seriously the lattes are the best, my favorite is the butterscotch cookie w oat milk. Discovered Cafe Opa tucked back in the Food Lion plaza on Cliffdale Road at Raeford Road. Decided to stop in and check it out... after running errands. The interior is warm and inviting. The staff was very friendly. Picked the chicken gyro off the menu andit did not disappoint! The thick spiral cut Greek fries, however, stole the show. They were so good that they could have beenthe whole meal! Also got the baklava - because, why not? Easily the best I?ve had in town and a sizeable slice. Reasonablypriced and quick to order out. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend Cafe Opa Read more

Great hidden gem right off Raeford Rd!! Great, family owned restaurant. Clean place to sit and drink/eat, lovely decorations of... the Greek waterfront, and AMAZING food!! We ordered a traditional gyro, a chicken gyro, a side of fries, and 2 Greek beers.Absolutely mind blowing! Both gyros were flavorful, fresh, and very filling. The fries were almost like curled potato wedges butcrispy and with so much more flavor. Such an inviting place, it?s definitely my go to for Mediterranean food and maybe even anice little breakfast! Don?t pass them by, they have an extensive menu and lots of coffee options as well! Read more

This restaurant is located right behind my physician and I just so happened to be looking for a good coffee shop and this place... popped up. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I left with the best baklava frozen coffee. I had also bought some baklavafor my boyfriend to try and it was so delicious to him. We love Greek food so we've been to quite a few mediterranean/Greekrestaurants. We decided to have dinner here recently and everything was incredible. My boyfriend said it was his favorite gyrohe's ever had. Also, the fries were the best I've ever had. You can definitely tell they make everything fresh as soon as youorder it. We can't wait to go back and try more off the menu. Read more
