Awesome place! Had a great experience here. Food is delicious and tastes fresh. We got a falafel plate and lamb plate and the... meat was flavorful and tender. The chickpeas are a little spicy, but in a flavorful yummy way. Our only note of feedback is thesauce that comes on the side of the platters tastes like mayo mixed with some herbs? did not match the flavors of the rest ofthe food at all and I would say needs improvement. Finally had a chance to try the lamb chop plate from Afghan Kabob and it was so good. The meat was seasoned well and very... tender. Same thing with the chicken, straight awesome! The chickpeas are delicious as well. I could eat a bowl of it and besatisfied. The cleanliness and service of the restaurant remained the same from our previous visit. No issues at all. Read more
First time here and definitely NOT the last!! Extremely HAPPY to find a place that takes pride in their food, service and... restaurant cleanliness. I?m sure this place will last the true test of time as a small business in Fayetteville. From the minuteI walked into this establishment you can see how clean this place is. We ordered our food Friday at about 6 pm and ate in. Thepictures attached show what we ordered (chicken kabob platter and lamb gyro). The meals were made with FRESH ingredients andwere super FLAVORFUL. So grateful for friendly service from Mrs. April and the suggestion to order online if I?m short on timefor future visits. Can?t wait to share this place with my coworkers! Also I encourage you to read the plaque posted near theentrance of how this business came to Fayetteville. Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. The sanitation grade was a 98. We were greeted by... the cashier and she was very helpful in explaining the menu. The food was extremely delicious and you definitely get your moneysworth. The owner came out to speak with us and others in the restaurant and he was very polite and down to earth. To order a Carryout you have to call to order, which was fine but I prefer online ordering. We ordered lamb and chicken Kabobs... with fries. The chicken was good. The lamb was good except that the lamb was in huge chunks and a little difficult to eat. Iprefer the shaved lamb. The fries were good and everything was very fresh. Read more
I had been wanting to try this place since it had opened and just couldn't fit it in. Man should I have tried harder. I have... spent some time in Afghanistan so I was very critical when I walked in. I felt like the food critic in the movie Ratatouille.Once I saw the Lamb kabobs plate I was ecstatic. That was only second to how the first bite of lamb tasted, then the rice, andthen the Chickpeas,....... and I was back in Afghanistan. Maybe even better than the original. Make time NOW to go here.
