Reviews for Village Cafe in Fayetteville, GA
Food and service was very good. Only two issues. $2.00 upcharge to substitute salad for Coleslaw and host and wait staff could... have been a bit sharper dressed. Hair and clothing not well kept. We were among the first to arrive for lunch and some lookedas if they had been working all day. Trousers and shirts wrinkled and hair not well groomed. All and all a good experience. Quite and pleasant atmosphere. Read more
I went today to try it out. It was excellent. The calamari for appetizer was not chewy. The salmon was a little over cooked on... the end but the rest of it was excellent. I enjoyed the spinach and mash potatoes. Derek was an excellent waiter. Ask for himwhen you go. The atmosphere was relaxed. Read more

My first time in over 19 years. We had Spicy Calimari and Fried Green Tomatoes as appetizers. Calimari was perfect! Not too... breaded or chewy and the accompanying peppers were hot but not explosive. The FGT not so much. The tomato inside the breadingwas way too thin for the amount of breading. Everyone enjoyed their food except for me. The grilled chicken on Village(?) saladwas tasteless and had a strange texture. Bacon was almost non existent. The warm hot bacon dressing wasn't hot or bacony. Iwill go again because the other dishes looked delish. Service by RJ was great! Read more
The Party of six in my party enjoyed the food we were served. Our server was Wick or Chadwick. The owner even assisted with our... service. Our drinks were two glasses of Moscato, Sweet Tea and Waters. Our Appetizers were Fried Onion Rings and Pan Fried SpicyCalamari. Our entrees were 2 Mom's Lasagna, 2 Chicken Diavolos, Pecan Grilled Chicken, and New Orleans Cajun Pasta(seafood).Everyone left the Village Cafe well fed and totally pleased. I will be going back!!! Wife and I were finally able to get out on a Friday to get things done, randomly stopped by Village Cafe, you would not have... guessed from the outside what was to come. The food was amazing quality, the staff were great and on point. I would recommendthis place and not pass by thinking it?s a normal cafe. Fish and chips were exceptional during lent as well. I've been to the restaurant many times and have always had good experiences. Our most recent experience was not good. While our... server was attentive, the food was mediocre. I ordered a fillet mignon. The steak had an odd taste and the mashed potatoes werelukewarm. I left half the food on my plate. Read more
