Reviews for Rosa's Home Cooking in Fayetteville, GA
I terribly hate to leave this review and it's not staff related as the customer service was ok but the food was very... disappointing. This is definitely NOT the Rosa's Home cooking of the past.... for sure will not be returning. Read more
So, I tried this place back in 2015, and it wasn't good by far. However, I thought it was the selection of food I ordered.... Meatloaf, mashed potatoes , etc. Long story short, I went in tonight to get myself and my husband dinner. Well, it hasn'tchanged...still non flavored, undercooked, over seasoned on the wrong dishes..ex. The coconut cake was so dang on salty. I gaveit back to the owners daughter for reimbursement.***I literally took a fork full***Which she had a slight attitude about. Whysale that salty cake to someone else? I figured the strawberry short cake would be a better option. Was I mistaken..smh! Shemust make her cakes from scratch because the two I had taste like she put way too much salt in it. Why not just simply use 1stick of land of lakes REAL butter???????????? imitation/artificial margarine has a very strong salty taste with bakedgoods. The leg quarter chicken was under cooked to the point it was still rubbery with slim on the inside. The fat we pull offduring cleaning? Well, it was still on it. Yuck???????? I'm so glad I believe in praying over everything I consume. ***Blessyour food, if you eat there, folks, PLEASE*** Let's just say I will not be eating there again!!!! Two times gone wrong isenough for me. This isn't baseball. Oh! The cabbage was so undercooked that it had that raw smooshy taste. You know when it'ssteamed but not cooked enough, so it tastes more like Brussel sprouts instead of cabbage. Oh! They forgot my side of blackeyepeas. Listen, folks, if you want good soul-food go to Auntie Laura's Kitchen on Hwy 85 in Riverdale Ga. Or The Peach CobblerCafe in Atlanta Ga on Peachtree St. Same price as this place. Read more
This was the driest food I have eaten in a long time. The macaroni and cheese tasted like it was from a box, the candy yams... lacked seasoning and the dressing was no more than a bunch of crumbled corn bread muffins. This is definitely not the Rosa's Ifell in love with years ago. Read more
12Mar20. I arrived here right at opening time. After looking over the food, I ordered the bbq chicken, collard greens, and green... beans. The bbq chicken looked great but was quite dry. The collard greens, even after adding the pepper sauce, lacked flavor. The green beans lacked seasoning. Looks are quite deceiving. The cornbread muffin was the best part of the meal. It was crustyon the outside and warm and soft on the inside. Read more
Very good, large portion of the sides just not enough meat. Not very expensive, less than 30 for 3 people.
Very good food. This really is home style cooking. And they load up your plate. You get much for your money. The staff are... very helpful and nice. The dining area is very large. So there is plenty of room for groups. And the prices are veryreasonable. There is just one big flaw. Some food is not fully reheated. It's apparent the food is cooked, refrigerated andreheated. Me and my kids had food that was cold in the inner parts of servings. For such a great restaurant, this error needsto be corrected. Read more
Rosa's is the closest you will find to your own Mom's home cooking around here. It is all good and tge staff is always nice. For... a very reasonable price you receive VERY generous portions as well. I will continue to visit again and again for that southerncomfort food! Read more
The food is still good but the staff is terrible. I do not know if Rosa has hired new employees or what but their attitudes... takes away a lot of the charm associated with Rosa's. I have been going here for years but with the new staff, I won't be. Irefuse to pay for bad attitudes!! You can get that anywhere. Businesses have to realize they can not speak to you withdisrespect and still maintain a loyal customer!! Read more
