Really nice waitress and the food was really excellent ????!!

Meiji remains a standout for my sushi experience. I love going here. The staff is really attentive the prices are really good... especially when you consider the quality of everything. I make this a must dine experience everytime I am in town. Nothing beatssome awesome sushi from Meiji. Just know that sometimes wait time can be a bit long since most things are made up front by 2-3sushi chefs accommodating a whole restaurant but trust me iy is worth the wait. Read more

This is a cool little place - the ambiance is very nice and every time we've been here, the staff were very... friendly. Everything is fresh, aesthetically appealing, and the options are pretty decent. A good variety of sushi and sashimi,and some non-sushi items so everyone should be able to find something that they like. The rolls are also a good size - not toosmall, not too big... they are just right. However, the flavor range is lacking. Over the limited number of times we have beenhere, we have ordered almost every roll (possibly all of them), and they all seem to taste very similar - earthy. Now, I'm notopposed to the earthy flavor, but honestly the only major difference the rolls seem to be whether it's spicy or not. Again,everything is fresh - there is never a suspicious taste or order, and we've never felt like we couldn't finish a roll. We willmost likely give this place another try. We came in last night for our friend Jessie?s birthday. Let me just say WOW! I was blown away. The sushi was so fresh and... presented beautifully. The hot dishes were all prepared elegantly and they were simply delicious. The edamame is a MUST try! Thesauce on it is phenomenal. The staff was very accomadating even though we had a party of 6 and got a little loud and messy. Thekyoto sunrise cocktail was heavenly and their sake was served hot and very fresh. Food took a while to arrive but very worth the wait. 10 out of 10 recommend

I really enjoyed the Chicken Katsu that I ordered and the soft shell crab tacos are delicious! The service was a little slow but... they were playing Princess Mononoke above the bar so that was a plus! They have really good cocktails too. The interior is alittle fancy but they don't have a dress code so the atmosphere is still relaxing. The food is absolutely worth the price! Read more
