We went for Sunday brunch and it was soooooo good! I got Carla's Big Easy, the boudin on it was fabulous. We also got the Eggs... Pontchartrain, Eggs Des Amis, Creole Shrimp & Grits and the Shrimp Pontchartrain. ALL Excellent! The $1.99 mimosa make the mealcomplete. We finish with Beignets and had to go walk the UARK campus!! We've wanted to try the Sunday Brunch at Cafe Rue Orleans and we will definitely be back. Oh my!! We both savored the tastes and... textures of our food: Shrimp Pontchartrain (Shrimp in Tasso cream sauce over pasta) and Eggplant Napolean (Eggplant medallionsfried & layered w/crab cakes, topped with seafood cream sauce). Cafe Rue Orleans has become our go-to Cajun & Seafood place, located in NWA right on College Rd in Fayetteville AR. The food... options are plenty and easily sharable. Seafood was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Wait staff is very friendly, attentive andcourteous. The young lady who waited on us was very polite and recommended items. And we are glad that we ordered those dishes.It is very small restaurant but don't let that fool you as it definitely packs a punch. We have become a regular customers now. Read more
