Damas is home to the most expensive shawarma, at $17.99 (a basic shawarma), all menu items were very overpriced compared to... similar menu items at other restaurants in the area. Please note, they sell small regular french fries at $7. Mashawy grill platewas very basic, bread was burned, the only good menu item they had was Shusbarak with yogurt but was missing the rice. Servicewas also slow. Read more

I was very disappointed in this restaurant. I came here last week with my friends from out of Michigan, The whole road trip one... of my friends was saying a lot of good things about the restaurant. I had a bad first impression from the first moment, we satdown, nobody came to us until like more than 10 min after, they did not bring water until after we ordered. Water should befirst thing to be served even before placing an order. the staff were not organized, everyone was wearing different attire so wedidn't know who actually works in the restaurant. A lot of Arabic restaurants would serve a complimentary soup before food andtea after food, we did not see anything of that from Damas. we only saw the waiter when we ordered and when we got the food. Wehad to wait for the bill and had to go to front desk to ask for it and pay. The restaurant was not busy so I don't see why wewere served poorly. Food portions were bad and they put a lot of Pomegranate Molasses on the beef shawerma and it had a strongtaste on the shawarma which we did not really enjoy. I doubt that I would come back here. However, me and my friend went there last Saturday and we were really disappointment. the servicewas very very very bad. We had to wait 30 minutes to get someone to order. The food wasn?t good as the first time when i went inMay. The service man only came three times. First when we ordered the food, second times when he got the appetizers. and lasttime when he got the food. we had to go to the front to ask for the check twice. The restaurant wasn?t too busy to gave them anexcuse. Read more
