Our reservations were at 4pm for Thanksgiving Buffet. When we went through the line, there wasn't gravy, stuffing, crab cakes,... meatballs, shrimp, or salad. I was told there would be a 5 minute wait on gravy. When the gravy was brought out, it was whiteand put in the same dish as the previous gravy, which was golden brown. It had very little flavor and tasted sort of fishy. Thestuffing was slimy. The mashed potatoes that came out of the kitchen were sort of brown and rubbery. They should have beenthrown out. A waitress said that's what happens when you come late. Late??? My reservation was at 4. Shouldn't we be getting thesame food as everyone else for $45 a person? Always enjoyed stopping at this restaurant, but last visit was disappointing Ate on the bar side. Had to ask for silverware. ... They weren't busy and kitchen was quick but 5 min later I walked to the dining room and took silverware off a table. Then the sandwich didn't come with mayo on so I followed a bus boy to the kitchen and asked for mayo and ketchup. We used to really love driving through the area to stop here to eat. Never had a bad meal before today. Today was our last... visit. The new menu is disappointing, and the food was horrible. The spinach and artichoke dip was downright disgusting. Trythe recipe off the back of the Knorr's packet, because whatever was served with a heavy velveeta presence was gross. To top itoff the chips were not plentiful and most were broken scraps. The actual meals were overpriced with no quality. Typicallyservice had been good here, but for 3 tables in the tavern it was slow. No refills even offered. Read more

Stone House catered our wedding, and the delivery and food were perfect! Christine, the catering manager, was easy to reach and... answered all of my questions. She is so friendly and helpful! There were many choices for dishes, and I was completely satisfiedwith the menu we offered our guests. Delivery of the food was flawless! For a busy Saturday night we were surprised we were seated right away. Our waitress, Kimberly, was phenomenal. Dinner was very... good and came to the table quickly. The food was delicious. In fact, we were so pleased that we went back the next day forlunch. As luck would have it, Kimberly was our waitress again. She even remembered our drink preference. If I could give this place a zero stars, I would. AVOID AT ALL COST. We spent 2 hours and 10 minutes for our food. When it got... there, we had to send multiple dishes back due to being cold. I?m that time, we got one refill on drinks. Then when the billcame, she had added a $51 tip for herself. When asked why it took two hours, she simply said she had another table that had 12and couldn?t get to us. When informed we only got one refill, while paying the bill, she snarly said, want one now? The food is usually great but today none of it was. Wife had steak salad....steak was really salty and fries were way... underdone. I had chicken Alfredo and it was really flavorless....just tasted like pasta water. The chicken was tough....I knowprecooked chicken when I get it and that was precooked. Stopped for dinner. Bartender was amazing.. food-not so much. Ordered a steak with a potato, asparagus, crab & Hollandaise... sauce. My husband had the crushed salmon. Neither the steak or salmon had much taste. The potatoes we cold & tasted as if theywere from the bottom of the pot. The hollandaise sauce was tasteless as well. We also ordered the bread pudding for dessert.Very dry & the bottom was burnt. The bartender mention new management & a new chef. We didn't complain, we ate, paid our bill &left.
