Reviews for 12 West Bar & Grill in Farmington, MO
So, while passing through Farmington, my wife brought me here after having a great meal here years ago. Here's was very good, ... but my pork chops were probably the worst I've had. They were incredibly dry. The creamed sweet potatoes were fantastic, though. I was disappointed that after eating the potatoes and green beans and part of my wife's meal, I was full. So, instead of discounting inedible pork chops, I was given a free dessert that I wasn't hungry for and didn't ask for. Read more
I had lunch here a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. My husband and I were heading back to STL from Little Rock and decided... to stop in for dinner. We were immediately and pleasantly greeted and seated. We were told the Bourbon Glazed Pork chops werethe #1 seller and they're known for these. So that's what my husband ordered. I ordered the Honey Bourbon Beef, which wastasty. My husband's pork chops were incredibly dry, and one was inedible. Our server was apologetic and got him another chop, which he brought home because he was no longer hungry. The sweet potatoes that came with the chops were delicious. We got afree dessert as an apology for the chops, that we brought home. Our server was great, excellent service and hospitality. Read more
What a fancy little place! We stumbled upon it for lunch, while out on a little motorcycle excursion. It is located in... Farmington?s town square, with lots of fun boutique shops, bars and other restaurants all around it. We sat at the bar, which isornate and cozy. We ordered the sweet potato fries for an appetizer, and wow! They had a dusting of cinnamon sugar, and wereserved with a Raspberry Chipotle Cream for dipping - so good! My husband had the fish tacos, and I ordered the soup and salad? Ichose the loaded baked potato soup with a strawberry pecan salad with poppyseed dressing. It was all amazing. I was reallyimpressed with the diverse menu, and the pricing. We are already planning a trip back for dinner and can?t wait to try the AhiTuna and the Filet. Read more

Never had a bad meal there, neat old downtown building with exposed brick walls and hardwood floors. Staff members are on top... their game even during the busier times. We don't drink, but they offer a larger selection of adult beverages and a great menuto choose from, prices are typical for a restaurant with cloth napkins. We had a birthday party there once, everything was setup and waiting for us to arrive, spot on accurate! Read more
The establishment itself has a cool vibe. Kid's menu items were $7, most sandwiches were $13+/-, steak was $38-$54. Sampler... platter reminded me of the frozen appetizers you can purchase at a local grocery store. All in all, the wait time for food waslong, pricing is a tad high, server seemed a little stressed or unhappy to be there. It wasn't a "bad" experience, but I doubtmy family and I will return.
