Used to live in Farmington between 5/2014 - 2/2016 so I remember when this was the Gossips. The place was thriving when they had... this 1 Twin Cities area bartender who had his own "cult" following because of how great he was... eventually he demanded a wageincrease and the owner of Gossips/Longbranch refused and he quit and took most of the nightlife with him. The place went througha couple renovations after that to try to "rebrand" itself to revitalize business during that timeframe; including going from astereotypical pro MN sports themed restaurant to changing the theme to the local high school Tiger mascot + railroad theme.Along with reinventing the menu multiple times while increasing prices. Now the establishment has rebranded again with adifferent name & a bourbon/barrel woodsmen theme now. Food seems to have gone downhill though... had the cheese curds and theywere hard as rock like they've sat in the fryer too long. Read more
Decent bar, food OK. It really blows though when employees who are on duty think they can come in and take sports off the audio... because they want to play music. This probably will make the difference whether I come back or not. If I come back it'll beonly when Steph is on duty----she is the best! Read more
Food was decent, service was good, bloody is unique, I would say try the onion rings. Low key spot went during day with kids,... wife liked the frenh dip. Read more
A decent small-town bar with decent food and friendly staff! I can't speak to how they are during busy hours, but the last few... times I've been there I have had great experiences. Food was cooked quickly and was tasty, waiter was friendly and social, andprices are extremely fair. Will totally be coming back more in the future. Read more

Placed a pick up order for dinner last week. I referred to a special that was and STILL is posted at the bottom of their menu on... their website. It offers ?COVID-19 SPECIALS Available EVERY Day.? My husband wanted the sirloin steak & potato option thatincludes a baked potato, bread, and coleslaw. When ordering over the phone, the server wasn?t sure about that special so sheasked a manager. He told her that it was an old special and they couldn?t honor that. I respectfully responded that regardlessif it?s an old offer, it?s still currently on their website and I?d like it to be honored. She put the manager on the phone. Herepeated what he had told her to me and said that the special should have been taken off their website. I asked him what he hadthat was similar to that offer. He told me they had a sirloin & fry meal, but they no longer had baked potatoes. I was able toget him to honor the special, but with onion rings instead of fries. Initially annoyed, but now happy. I pick up the order andit was empty except for a few people at the bar. I was happy to get in and out fairly quick. I get in the car and checked theorder. Missing items. Had to go back inside since clearly the server didn?t check the order prior. Get everything home about5-10 min later. The steak was ordered medium rare. It was so terrible, my husband didn?t finish it. It has zero seasoning so headded some himself and still was terrible. The onion rings had a thick batter that he wasn?t a big fan of. The coleslaw tastedold. He ended up heating up some leftovers and threw the meal in the trash. No intentions of supporting this local businessanytime again soon.
