Cool place, cool decorations, burger meat was less than desirable. May have been an off day for the kitchen, but whatever... seasoning they use in the meat is not a traditional hamburger seasoning. It was overpriced $$$$, and over seasoned. Read more

Saw the burger sign and pulled in. A most pleasant surprise. Perused the menu and settled on the Hoppin? Jalapeño Burger ?... medium rare with a pan-fried egg over easy on top! Cut the pickles. Was pretty good. They can work on how they deep dry the food. Our okra came out like a ball instead of pieces. It was also very... well done. Got a bacon cheese burger. It was alright. Everything seems pretty simple. Menu need some work. You have to ask whatthings are because they don?t have descriptions on some and it a name that doesn?t tell you what is on it. I normally don't give 5 stars right off the bat, but I had saved this place for awhile now and my friend came here without that... knowledge. It was a little over 10:30 which is when they stop serving breakfast, but they allowed me to order a breakfast plateanyway. Very good food. Everything was hot, nothing lukewarm. The eggs were cooked well. The gravy was hot, and i didn't needany extra dipping sauce for any of it. My friend ordered a burger and fries. I had nothing to complain. He let me try the patty.Wow ! A lot of flavor ! I would have ordered one if i wasn't so full ! My fried turkey slice was smokey and delicious. The onlycomplaint i may have to give, was the "taters" were a little on the salty side. But that's just me not really caring for salt.Overall great experience, cozy comfy atmosphere, friendly staff, bathrooms were clean, and i loved all the old signs on thewall.
