Overall, a pretty good BBQ experience. I appreciate their take on burnt ends and ribs. The burnt ends weren't as good as they... are in Kansas City, but they're pretty close. The pulled pork was really great. The brisket was pretty good as well. The primerib was ok, but didn't have much smoke flavor to it. The ribs were a little tougher than I prefer, but the sauce on them helped.The Mac 'N Cheese was SUPER cheesy, which I enjoyed. The baked beans were pretty good as well; definitely a Texas style. I'drecommend trying this place out and making sure to get the burnt ends, pulled pork, and Mac 'N Cheese. Read more
Hot damn. Craving some brisket and boy did this place deliver. (well, my husband picked it up and brought it home, but you get... it) Husband also mentioned that the staff was really nice and the restaurant itself seemed cool. Good solid BBQ with excellent smoke flavor with no wait. Pork ribs were excellent, brisket had great flavor but a touch dry. The... sausage was very good. The beans were the best I have ever had. Got the chance to visit Crossbuck while visiting Dallas and it was beyond delicious! My mouth was watering the second I stepped... inside. Even as a vegetarian they had a couple of tasty options. One of their amazing Chefs created this tofu dish! The staff isvery helpful, fun and welcoming. Overall the atmosphere and the food is definitely at 10 out of 10. We were one of the lucky one who got to try this new BBQ place within a week?s opening. Yes, they have sweet and unsweetened... tea. The process is to get two proteins and two sides. There were four of us, plus my baby granddaughter. It was fun seeingwhat we all picked out. I got pulled pork and the smoked salmon?the whole piece, because my husband knows me very well?and mysides were yummy beans and white macaroni and cheese. I enjoyed every bit. Another plate was ribs, sausage, hominy, and steamedveggies. And the final plate included ribs, smoked salmon, coleslaw, and beans. The beans had delicious pieces of meat in it?I?mguessing ham hocks. OMG!!! Awesome BBQ!! You have to try this place. Just opened and the Ribs are top notch! Everything was great? brisket,... sausage, but the ribs stole the show! Brand new place, staff is super friendly, TVs everywhere no matter where you sit, lots ofseating without being crowded, good parking. This will easily be THE BBQ spot in Dallas. We ate lunch on Mon. 9/19, the food & service were great! The brisket sandwich was so good! Great sauces! The roasted potatoes... were delicious! Roll was so good too. We REALLY appreciate that this place serves healthy options too, the veggies were so goodnot too much butter, & the side salad. This will keep us coming back.
