One of my favorite regular breakfast places of all times. Jalapeño bagel with garden veggie cream cheese is one of the best.... Also vegetable bagel sandwich is a great addition to the menu. Very quaint locally owned place, nice cozy vibe, fresh made bagels in house that they can make breakfast sandwiches out of. We... stop in here as a quick breakfast alternative instead of McDonald's or other fast food. Staff is friendly and makes things easy. Read more
We've been meaning to stop by Benny's for awhile now so this morning we stopped before heading to the airport. Although Google... says they open at 6:15, we found out they actually open at 6:30. The lady who works there was nice enough to let us in anyway.We got the bagel and cream cheese with bagels right out of the oven! They were magical and we can't wait to go back. A cozy setting with a rustic charm to it. I came during off-hours so it was absolutely empty inside. The menu is pretty... extensive so there's a little bit for everyone. Portion sizes and prices are very fair. I did not at all leave hungry nor didI spend an arm and a leg for my bowl of soup and roast beef on a plain bagel. There's just something so wonderful about havinga nice quiet lunch in a charming setting. Now onto the taste. The potato soup was absolutely full of large chunks of redpotatoes! I was very pleased with this and the fact that the creamed broth was on the thinner side. It made it easier to eat.Don't mistake thinner broth for thin soup overall, this bad boy was pretty hearty and generous with the potatoes and carrots. But still fairly light in taste. My sandwich was a #6 with roast beef on a toasted plain bagel. I found the serving of lunchmeat to be reasonable. Everything looked and tasted fresh. Overall it was a very delicious sandwich. Service was excellent!The lady at the counter was very gracious and helped me through the ordering process. While not serving me, she was quick totidy up the place and keep everything neat. Overall, this place definitely deserves a return trip. I recommend stopping by fora bite of you are looking for a good lunch spot. Read more
I love Benny's Bakery & Deli because they make their bagels fresh everyday! I have had the pleasure of walking in and seeing... with my own eyes their process, and you can even see the big pot and oven combo as soon as you walk in. That being said it makesfor a crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside experience. I even heard a transplanted New Yorker say "Now these are realbagels!" one morning! Read more
Great place for a quick breakfast bite. I go here occasionally for the Lox Bagel and while their bagels are fresh and delicious... and they use good ingredients, they can be a little lean on the salmon. Either way, they always offer good and convenientservice so it keeps me coming back. Read more
