Reviews for The Shack on Broadway in Fargo, ND

Food is comparable to Frying Pan, but servers and staff seem more confident and happy at their jobs. Fried eggs, French Toast... were pretty standard fare. Bacon was generous portion and not overdone, but well done. Coffee pretty standard for diner. Facility is clean, bright, some recent remodeling. Pretty busy on a weekday at 9am. Location in town is tough to get to andnot much around that is interesting. Nice, large cinnamon rolls with a price to match the size. Read more

Best small Cafe in Fargo hands down. My fiance and I come here for breakfast and it is the best. The staff is top notch and... really take care of you. There is usually a wait for breakfast, but not too long. The building is small, but large enough tocycle through customers every 10 minutes or so. Read more

The Shack on Broadway NEVER dissapoints! The food is always very filling and tastes amazing. The cinnamon rolls and caramel... rolls are HUGE, but you need to get there early before they all sell out. Whenever my girlfriend and I visit, we always splita country fried steak and eggs with a cinnamon roll prior to the delivery of our main meal. This last time, the CFS friedbatter was very thin, crispy, and light. Whenever we are in the area, we always enjoy stopping here for a bite! Read more

Excellent food! Had the meat lovers omelette with hash browns and toast. And from what I seen others had ordered all the food... looks amazing! Plenty of seating and parking however no doubt this place gets crowded at peak times. Wonderful service andaffordable prices! Read more

Great breakfast. Pancakes are wonderful. The pie was also very good. Great menu! I will be back to try more. The staff was very... friendly and provided great service. Seems to be a lot of regulars in the place which I consider good. This is a smaller placeand judging by the amount of people in at 10am on a Tues, you will probably wait in line during peak hours. Moved to the F/M area from NYC this year. This spot is the closest I've found here yet to the NYC diner experience, with a cozy... feel. The food is scrumptious, the prices are reasonable not spiked, and the service is very friendly. Prepare to wait a fewminutes to be seated, but once seated the order and food service happens quickly. The pancakes are terrific and their gigantuouscinnamon buns are unparalleled. Read more

It's definitely a busy place, we had to wait about 45 minutes to get in. We just sat in the car and waited for our phone call.... The food you could tell was made from scratch, everything was really decent quality for the price. Service was fast andfriendly! Read more
