Full review of ?Slim Chicken? Fargo, ND (September 10, 3:20 PM) My best friend and I walked into the establishment at first... glance it was very clean. ( besides the flies ???? greeting you every which way) The employee at the cash register seemed to bedistracted doing a multitude of other things and in passing asked us if were we ready to order. This came off as a brush likewe were bothering her. This was our first time here and was still looking at the menu on the wall. I ordered the LARGE MAC &CHEESE ???? with a side of fries ???? while my best friend ordered a crispy chicken meal combo ????, and we both ordered drinks????. My friend got his meal at least 15 mins before I did, IDK I think it's rude to not bring both meals at the sametime? The waiter initially gave me the meal and I pushed it to my friend and told the waiter what I ordered. When my meal didcome everything, I had was not even room temp or just plain cold Especially my mac & cheese. A few minutes later a differentwaitress came to our table and sat down another crispy chicken in front of me. I said a good four times I did not order this,but they insisted on me having it. Confused, I double-checked my receipt. And NO extra sandwich was ordered. there was still noexplanation for why I received an extra sandwich, and odds are I probably got someone else's meal, unfortunately. Besides theconstant interruption of the overly crowded place, we were in awe with how clean a spotless ? the place was because of all staffcontinually cleaning tables but there was a swarm of pesky flies ???? EVERYWHERE. Trying to enjoy our cold ???? food we werecontinuously fanning and swatting flies away without any success. They were everywhere and landed on and in our food. As thiswas going on we heard many other customers complain about how the service sucked, the food is cold, and the flies. The chicken is super good quality, little expensive, but really tasty. Definitely would eat here again. We were worried about... the amount of people when we came in, but service was quick. Definitely recommend. Popeyes is still better though- sorry notsorry. Read more
First time customer and definitely will be back. We were immediately greeted upon entering the restaurant by the staff who were... simply amazing. Everyone we had any interaction with was professional and courteous. The facility itself was super clean, thestaff took pride in their jobs. The food...omg the food was amazing and service was fast. From the time we put our order inuntil it was on the table was around 5-8 minutes. Everything was hot and fresh. I will definitely be visiting again. Read more
I don't know if their direct competition is supposed to be Chick-fil-A or not. But I was comparing them. Chick-fil-A had... better chicken sandwich. I don't think slim uses pickle juice as a marinade. And I prefer that taste. Yet, the slim Sammy isyummy, and they have a lot more options. Your move, Chick-Fil-A ???? I stumbled across a Slim Chickens on a work trip to Montana and visited the location multiple times... during my stay. I was excited to see that a location was opening in Fargo, and wasn?t disappointed during our visit today.
