We were there for 3 hours for a party of 7. Not by choice, because service was that long! It took a long time to get drink... orders back and refills. We had a reservation. It was $40 for NY strip steak which came with roasted potatoes and carrots. Therewasn?t anything special about the menu, and it certainly doesn?t match with what they charge. And $7 for a side of sautéedmushrooms. For the two of us it was $140 bill. It was automatically a 20% Gratuity for a party of 6 or more. I had the Swedish meatballs and they were just okay. I was part of a large group and I know it can be difficult to manage that... many people. However they didn't include food for two in our party. Our server Nancy was outstanding, food was excellent BUT when received the bill there was a 4% tax added for employee benefits.... We were not told or explained this u til it appeared on the bill. Was told it was for the back staff as they don?t get tips! .Don?t the back staff get paid? And as we left we overheard two people discussing what we had asked about and they stated that?shis problem. Fair prices for really tasty food. The drinks where made well and the food had so much good flavor. I had a burger and I've... never had hamburger meat that had that much flavor into it. Super satisfying will he coming back. Read more
I've had dinner here 4 times. Overall, the food and service has been fantastic, and the drink selection and uniqueness are... great... BUT... They're always out of everything. 3 of the 4 times (several months between visits) they've been in the middleof "changing menus" meaning they're out of many items on the menu. This most recent visit was the most disappointing... Therewere 4 people in my party, and 3 of us ordered different entrees, all of which were not available. They were also out of drinkingredients, so not all cocktails were available. The evening finished off when we ordered a $10 lefse plate to take home,except after we left the togo container had 4 empty lefse rolls. No butter, sugar, cinnamon, jam, or anything else.
