Our waitor was very pleasant and respectful. The service was great except when we needed to leave and it took a while to recieve... our check after we had finished eating. I don't normally have an issue with Mexican food but for some reason it made me sick thenext morning. It's unfortunate just because this was my first time at a Mexcan Village. I hope I can come back again and have abetter experience. Read more

Only person in the restaurant and told it would be 10 to 15 minutes to be seated! Half hour later we were seated. The waitress... was nice but they lost the ticket and we had to wait to get our food. Never again! Read more

I went on my birthday and our waiter in the bar was AMAZING. he was so nice and very informative to the ways of getting the most... alcohol in my margaritas (blended or on the rocks-he said blended because they don?t add ice but they make their margaritas fromstraight tequila and a bit of regular margarita flavor ? now you know lol) again it was my birthday so I was allowed to know themost alcohol induced drink and it was delicious. As well as the fry bread taco I had.. I didn?t even know they had those therebut I?m so glad I found it? and our waiter ?????????? Read more

Food was ok. Not great. Nice quiet place. Wait staff seemed like they were just going through the motions. Not a bad place, but... for the price I might go to a different place. I have been told that the downtown location is better. Average plate is around$15. Lots of other choices in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Maybe it was an off day, we might try it again sometime. We had a great experience at the 45th street location. We had tried the downtown location a few weeks ago, and after sitting... without any service for over 20 mins we walked out. Ironically, we met the group that was seated before us at the door. Theyhad not been helped either. In any case, I am glad we got to have the piping hot food we had always come to expect at MexicanVillage. It will probably be the only location I visit moving forward. Read more

Waited for about half hour to be seated but our server was very friendly and efficient. And the quality and quantity of food was... amazing! Us 2 adults shared a super nacho and we ended up bringing half of it home. Plus, 3 teenage girls had, 2 burritos and 1fajita dinner and they all ended up with boxes coming home also. It was definitely worth the wait! Read more

The service was horrible. I couldn't find anything on the menu that drew me in while there is plenty of good food. The problem... was the waitress had not been back. I decided to go to the bartender and pay for my pop. The price was 3.59 I gave her $4 andasked for my change. She said you want the change and I said yes and she slammed the 2 quarters on the counter and then returnedto the back and started talking about me as if I were the a**hole. Not a good day. This is a local favorite of mine but this location fairly new. The restaurant is large and tonight maybe due to bad weather out... not crowded. The server was so friendly and welcoming. We ordered a flight of tacos and shared then we had a very deliciousfried ice cream dessert. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. It's a big place and you could easily eat with a largegroup here. Read more
