Just walked in for lunch. Two tables sitting one employee... Stood in front of the menu for two minutes while I was simply... ignored. No food on the grill Music blaring. Radio was more important to change the station and walk away then to take myorder. Another place down the drain.... Lost another one... Oh lastly, the place was FILTHY. *Edit: gave them 2 stars, switched it to one after discovering my fries are COLD. Not just like sat out for awhile cold, like... still frozen on the inside type cold ????* I have put many years into the service industry myself & know somethings just happenHOWEVER absolutely will not be going back after this visit. 1) a large combo = $18+ ...I would understand if it was loaded withtoppings but a fourth of the sandwich didn't even have anything on it? (ordered a junction delight) and the Chicken cordon BleuI received had no lettuce, no tomatoes, no mayo, no honey mustard AND TO TOP THINGS OFF I could taste other sandwhich flavorsfrom the grill. So I basically received a sub with grease flavored chicken and cheese... that's it. Normally I have patience butwhen you're charging over 15 dollars for a sub- it should not have Bare spots & should at the very least have the appropriatetoppings ESPECIALLY if the employee double confirmed that over the phone. This is usually a good restaurant. Today was a different story. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu combo with lettuce and... tomatoes. The filling of the sandwich was about half of what it normally is, and the meat was overcooked?almost blackened. Therewas next to no sauce, and the meat was seasoned with something strange. Instead of lettuce, I got cabbage, and the bread was abit stiff. The only good part of the meal was the coke. I think the cook was new. He clearly didn?t know how to make the cordonbleu. The folks working were very pleasant?however our sandwiches left much to be desired. I had the Hawaiian which had very little... flavor. From what my husband had told me ?these are the best sandwiches in the world? as he remembered them from his old days inthe air guard.. no. Not even close. My lettuce was browning, tomatoes were limp. And the base sandwich itself had very littleflavor. The fries were supposed to be the best but they were very undercooked and waaaayyyy over salted. So? overall? a flop.Wont be returning which is sad because my husband had been looking forward to sharing his favorite sandwich shop with me. Read more

Subs here are a little pricey, but they are good. Most of the staff do not interact with their customers which is odd.

OVERPRICED!!! We used to love grand junction for how much stuff they gave you like overfilling the bag of fries and loading your... sandwiches. But now they have changed DRASTICALLY. I went in today and bought a large cordon blue combo and a large barnyard andthat alone costed over 32 DOLLARS. I know that inflation is going on but I thought that was still ridiculous. I still bought itanyway and I waited for my food for awhile even though I was the only one there. Once I got my food, I went home and when Iopened up the bag the first thing I noticed was their was a bag of fries that was ONLY HALF FULL. Then when we opened thesandwiches and the bread was a lot skinnier then what it used to be and also the filling for both sandwiches was a very littleamount and it was JUST MEAT and the SAUCE when their used to be vegetables and just more of everything on it. Great people, great place, great food and great environment. My personal take being from Philly? Very good food. The... cheesesteaks are great. Only criticism would be the fries. Great quality but needs less salt. Way too salty. Other than that,perfection. P.S. to everyone: Get oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder on your cheesesteaks, please! Read more
