Poor service most times I?m there, busy or not you?ll need to ask at least once for a drink. Food is meh at best. Can take... forever. Parking lot and street is always full of trash and empty shooters, and it kinda makes sense people drink in the parkinglot because it?s like pulling teeth to get a server or tender to fill your glass back up. If you?re strictly looking for a nichepool hall, this place maybe okay, but if you want drinks, food, and a sober attentive staff, go elsewhere. Read more
Probably our fault, we came for dinner with a mixed group of kids and adults. We were seated right away but loud pounding music... from the overhead speakers and we were told it couldn't be adjusted. We ordered drinks and appetizers right away and they camequite quickly. We then placed our food order including a couple of pizzas that the kids wanted. The adults meals came and wefinished eating with no sign of the pizzas yet. The waitress told us it was due to a new pizza oven and it takes forever. Wealso didn't realize that you didn't get your bill at the table and that you had to go to the counter, tell them who you are andthen they would ring up your order for payment. Worst place to drink in fargo. Almost am empty venue and you get chased around for sitting in the wrong place. Every server and... bartender was very rude. And complete incompetence on behalf of the manager. I would leave negitive stars if possible. Avoidthis place at all cost. Read more
This is a great venue, with many pool tables and pinball machines for a night of fun. The owner/manager(?) didn't charge us... anything last night to play pool and there were 4 of us on the tables for a good 2 1/2 hours. Maybe because we were from out oftown or because maybe it was our first time there , but that was quite generous of him and a nice surprise for us. I would havewritten a good review even if he hadn't comped our pool playing. The place is clean, service was great. The waitresses werequite busy and overwhelmed at times, but always found time to check on us and see if we needed anything. We had a great time,and will definitely be back next time we are in town. Beer was empty before my food got here , bartender hasn?t been back in over 45 minutes . I get that they?re probably short... staffed, but it?s every single time I come here? you literally have to ask a server for a drink. I wouldn?t ever bring groupshere or a party, flat out the service here is absolutely horrible. The worst part about it is, it?s a great spot, they justdon?t know how to run it efficiently. Also the servers argue in front of customers, and it?s kind of off putting. Dude bartenderthere is legit and should probably be running the place. This place is great for a fun, easygoing experience. Fargo Billiards and Gastropub offers a variety of different activities, not... just pool, for all ages and skill levels. Aside from billiards, they offer pinball, pingpong, bags (cornhole) and darts.Gastropub also provides a full menu and bar, just in case you get hungry or feel like wetting your whistle. While the servicemight take a minute or two extra to take your order (it's a big place) it's worth the wait. The staff is always very friendlyand accommodating.
