OMG! My wife had the grilled pork chops and she said they were really good. I just had the Ribeye Whiskey Steak, and it was THE... BEST STEAK EVER! I've traveled all over the world as an Aviator, to include Colombia and Guatemala, and I not only grew upnear a cattle ranch but first learned real grilling at a steak house, so I know a little bit about steaks. I've eaten steakseverywhere, and after retiring from the airlines I drive my own rig across the USA. What a surprise to find Dolly Down, withterrific food and very polite, fast service! It's a restaurant at a truck stop. The place is small only a counter and a few tables and there are several TV's to watch. ... Seating usually easy to find never had to wait there. The food very homemade tasting. The service fast and overall a greatplace to visit have a meal. There's a lot of variety on the menu and it's always a surprise what's their special. Read more
Great location for a quick bite to eat. I was in town for work and had about 45 minutes to eat and get back to the hotel. I was... able to order, eat and have a good conversation in about 40 minutes. I was treated to a wonderful Elk burger. I was alsoimpressed to see they also had bison burgers on the menu. The resturant is located within a truck stop rest area. Very nice stopfor any logistics professionals, anyone staying at a local hotel, or passing by the location! Read more
