Great down home, stick to your ribs food that's reasonably priced. Lunch for 2 is around $25 with fountain drinks. Lots to... choose from with many burgers, sandwiches and sides. We've even eaten there for the Thanksgiving buffet. Always quick and good.Service is fast as well. They make their own breads and buns and have pastries for sale like donuts, pies, cookies and cinnamonbuns. Worth the trip every time to do lunch at Duanes and shopping at Ebels. Read more
This is a great place... good food....a chance for outsiders to sit among the locals. However, I think the servers and staff... sometimes lose sight of how important good attitude and customer service is. And how unique this place is. The staff can seemvery distant and self-absorbed, Like the dialogue of three or four of them gathered by the counter is more important than goodinteraction with the patrons. Service with a smile is sometimes replaced with service with the scoff or a grunt. Myrecommendation is that the servers start to realize how unique and special this place is, and start to interact accordingly.People can get cold-shouldered service anywhere, I can come to a place like Duane?s For better hospitality and good small towncooking. We love Duane's! The servers have always been friendly, quick with refills, treated us good. Food has been good, can't beat it.... We've got an elderly friend who loves Ebels and Duane's and looks forward to the timewe can make it up north to take her. Read more

Went there for Thanksgiving dinner as we do every year and as always, the food was amazing and the staff is always on their toes... to make sure you are satisfied with everything or if you need anything. We've been going for over about 10 years and have neverhad a bad experience! Read more
Like probably 70% of Duane's patrons, we were in town to shop the deals at Ebel's and wanted to eat first so we wouldn't be... hungry when we went shopping. I'm not sure it's possible for any place to be more of Family Restaurant than Duane's. Talk abouthomey. For lunch, the special was a meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. And it was outstanding. Almost, though notquite, as good as my meatloaf. (Which I make in the smoker. Don't judge. Try it.) The gravy was outstanding, but a huge factorin the sandwich was the bread. Wow. Great bread. And, because it's such a family place, you can buy a loaf from the in-housebakery. Though we didn't get any of the fantastic dang bread, we did get a dozen of their cookies. Wow. Just. Wow. Greatcookies. The bathrooms were easy to find, clean, well lit, well supplied and fully functional. They pass the test! (It'ssurprising how many places don't get it. Clean bathrooms are a huge plus.) Our service, friendly and timely for the entirety ofour visit, delivered our very reasonable tab on request and we checked out in short order. Check my other reviews. I don't give5 stars very dang often. I was going to give Duane's my standard max of 4 but then I realized, they bill themselves as exactlywhat they are: A Family Restaurant with great home-style cooking. This is a great family style restaurant. The menu is extensive and the food is good. The Buffet is exceptional. The service is... fast and friendly. It is definitely worth your while to go here especially if you are shopping at Ebel's General Store. Never goto Ebel's if you are hungry.???? Read more
Great fish sandwich and homade sourdough bread. Almost forgot the molasses cookies, Yum!!
