I always enjoy it here. It is a beautiful venue, and the food is what I would expect. The outside is fantastic....great views,... sweeping lawn, I love the chickens running around, tons of outside options for seating. The inside is warm, cozy, beautiful. Lovethe live music too! I wish it was open all year round! For us, the service has been great! I get how short staffed most placesare, I see them working hard to provide the best possible experience. My only 'issue' with this place is that their website isnot always current, so be aware of that. Read more

Don't buy the "farm to table" facade this place puts out. The staff had no idea where any of their ingredients came from, and... according to them, neither did the kitchen. Apparently it's unclear what the "farm" even produces. We were extremelydisappointed with the food quality. My husband ate it to not be wasteful and felt sick the rest of the night. Drinks were verystingy on the booze. This place has so much potential, beautiful atmosphere, the service was good enough, and the live music wasgood. But if sourcing your ingredients is something you care about, definitely skip it. We won't be back. Read more

My wife and I got married at Smith Farm a few weeks ago and it was a truly wonderful experience. Theresa was extremely helpful... and responsive for months leading up to the big day, and the day-of coordinator Ashley made sure everything ran to perfection. The entire staff were very friendly and professional and everything ran smoothly. The food was excellent and all our guestsraved about how cool it was to get married in a pretty barn decked out in string lights. Can't recommend Smith Farm enough! Read more

While most people have had a great experience here, our group did not. Every time we needed something (silverware to eat,... napkins, etc) it felt like we were inconveniencing them. Our food came out out at different times (twenty min difference), theirmenu did not accurately describe their food (bruschetta is made with tomatoes not mushrooms), no one checked in with us foranything, and they couldn?t keep the bill straight. We always had to call someone over. It was not a busy night at all. Even thewaitress made reference to this. If certain things had been explained, and had they been prepared for us, I probably wouldn?tleave this review. I still wouldn?t return, but it was too bad of an experience to not say something. Maybe take out is a betteroption ??????????? Read more

Unfortunately the barn does not keep its hours updated any place we have been able to find. It had other good reviews but... unfortunately we made the trip and they were closed. Spoke with someone at Millie's Skillet and they claim that theirbusinesses get merge somehow in Google reviews, yet you could find both businesses listed separately with a different set ofhours. Please get your hours fixed so that your customers don't waste their time coming to visit your restaurant when it'sclosed. Read more

Went here with a group of business associates and coworkers for an early dinner. Beautiful old barn with a huge outdoor patio... along with a big open yard with picnic tables. Cornhole and fire pit with chickens and hens running around the back yard. Itwas the perfect place for us as we had drinks and many appetizers delivered to picnic table we chose in the lawn. Service andfood were both excellent. Read more

We arrived at 5:30 as we hoped for an early evening and left at 7:30 without ever eating (except for a brussels sprouts... appetizer which was delicious). The wait staff was awesome, but the food service was abysmal. At 7:30 they said the food mighttake 15 more minutes...we left....hungry and frustrated. Such a great venue, but definitely severe growing pains. We will notgo again except the music was so good.. Maybe just go for the awesome music? Hoping they get it together as it could beawesome. Reservations not required but are suggested. Wood fire pizza was the big draw for us. It is a separate business, but the... restaurant has a cheese or pepperoni option on the menu. If you call in an order for pickup, many other toppings are available. We opted for the chicken and corn egg roll appetizer with honey mustard sauce. Served piping hot, 3 egg rolls...each cut inhalf, great tasting plate for several people. It was delicious. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza, typical wood fired pizza, great crust, little char. A few bubbles, sufficient cheese, somewhat greasy due to the pepperoni....yum. The menu has a fewvegetarian options, poultry, pork and seafood...did not notice anything beef. We were too full for dessert, but they did have aseparate dessert menu which we declined. The hostess and waitress were both friendly and helpful. Old barn interior with someinteresting light fixtures and chandeliers. Lovely uncovered deck available for outside seating with a pretty view. They havefun goats to the side of the restaurant....they always seem to be climbing up something when I drive by. Entertaining, not sureif they are part of the restaurant. They close in the Fall as their is no heat inside, so that date is flexible. Parking lotsmallish so if it's a busy night and meeting friends you may want to carpool. Definitely going back again.
