First time at Yeshi Kitfo and I have to say, cannot wait to go back!! Definitely my new favorite go-to Ethiopian restaurant!!... The restaurant is very specious and clean! The décor was tastefully done, most of all the food was amazing! I ordered YeshiKitfo and Tibs with a side of vegetable dish and I was very impressed how all three dishes were amazingly delicious!! Theservice was excellent as well. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and helpful! The owner was also very friendly andprofessional! Thank you for the delicious latte! All in all, my daughter and I had a very pleasant first experience at YeshiKitfo, and I look forward to going back to try more of the delicious food and see the live entertainment! Read more
First time having Ethiopian food in the states. It was delicious and they accommodated my low tolerance for spice. Be sure to... ask questions if you're not familiar with Ethiopian cuisine. They were really helpful when answering our questions. Read more
I love Yeshi Kitfo the food is ???? but pls pls check out ur waitress it?s look like they want ruin ur restaurant I don?t want... give u 1?? because of them .. put camera or hire Manager ! It?s 2nd time happen to us after we get our food nobody checking onus have to get up n ask evt I want specially at end if we want tea or coffee that?s gonna b a dream but I still come n dine Ilove ur food good job ???????? again watch out ur waitresses ???????? Went it last night to try out for the first time. Place looks great and clean but service was none existence. Sat about 10... minutes without anyone handing us a menu, 5 minutes later someone else shows up and told us they had only 3 items on the menuavailable out of 20 to 25 items. No tibs available!! Wow. Yeshi Kitfo is one of the best Ethiopian authentic food. You?ll never be disappointed when you get there. Ambiance with the best... customer service. Raw meat marinated with herbs and oil. Pot chick peas powder. Read more
Yeshi Kitfo, a go-to place in DC/VA/MD area to get a delicious/authentic Ethiopian food, neatly prepared and presented.... Incredible atmosphere and attentive service but not intrusive, suitable for small/large groups. The menu also provide awide-variety selection of Italian dishes/freshly baked oven pizzas made to perfection, the perfect choice for a family outings.A must try! Read more
We ordered one special kitfo. It came as a kind of cold. After we ate for much of the portion, the coordinator came and asked us... about our experience. I told him that it was a bit cold. He asked us if we want it to be heated. They did heat it. Still theyadded butter to it but was not hot enough. Again, the way the waitress treat us seems as if we make a mistake of asking them toheat the cold kitfo. As a result we were uncomfortable. Read more
Has been to this place several times since our daughter loves the Shekla Tibs even though the portion gets smaller & smaller... every time we visit, but today they said they r out off Shekla Tibs & recommended us another kind of Tibs & Special Kitfo asusual, but the Ayib/Gomen(goat cheese/collard) which came with it wasn?t fresh & it got us sick as soon as we got home. We rreally sad that how come they provide us a meal which wasn?t fresh since we dinned with 3kids, instead they could have served uswithout the Ayib & Gomen as they told us they r out of Kocho, really would go back & also recommend others to go after thisincident.
