So, ordered from Spin Pollo via Grubhun at 4:27 PM, Ordered 1/2 Chicken, Dark Meat, with two sides. I picked Steamed Veggies... and Pasta Salad The Grubhun driver picked it up pretty quickly and it got to me a little after 5 PM. For a place that is 17minutes away that?s not bad. The Chicken was GREAT. I ate half of it before I even tried out the sauces. And that is the signof GREAT chicken. When you don?t need to add anything. The Steamed Veggies were good too. Some people might think they arebland but I like Steamed Veggies and they?re good for you. And a lot of the time I think Pasta Salad is bland. And, yes, I wassurprised. The Pasta Salad was very good tasting. To be honest there is only one place near me that made good Pasta Salad andnow I found a second place. Also, on top of all that, I got a free delivery on my first order so I didn?t have to pay fullprice. But to be honest I think if all their dishes taste this good I won?t mind full price. One of my favorite places to eat in all of the Mason, Annandale, and Falls Church areas for pollo a la brasa. The chicken is... always perfect and juicy, never dried out. They have a ridiculous amount of fresh sides. And their plantains are always ripebefore they prep them for service. It?s a hidden shop, it?s not far off to see the owners there, and if there not, Daisy isworking the front and she?s always great. She learns your name and greets you by name each time you come in, even if it?s been awhile since your last visit. I frequent The Chicken Place, Edys, Cocorico, and Superchicken. Out of all of these places, SpinPollo is my favorite. Also, the Yucca and the seasoning they put on it is always crisp and never starchy when you bite through.If you like sauces, they have a yellow sauce, a green sauce, and a medium reddish orange sauce that is amazing. Chicken and the ceviche is really good and their sauce. Have patience they do take longer than other places but worth the wait.... I was really surprised how good the rotisserie chicken was, very tasty, I would go back for the chicken. I tried the otherdishes very good but hands down their chicken to me stood out as moist, flavorful and good, that was my favorite. Read more
