The first time I visited, the food and service were excellent. The second/last time I visited, it had gone down hill somewhat.... The owner/manager seemed annoyed and was unfriendly. I probably should have left at that point, but I drove from SouthernMaryland and I wanted their pho. The pho was good, but the chili oil tasted old and had no spiciness. I mean, I put the oil andflakes on my tongue and nothing... Their avocado shakes are the best I've ever had. I hope things improve, but I probably won'tbe back. Read more
Great food! It was exactly what we needed after a long day. The pho has an excellent broth which was not too salty. Healthy... amount of bean sprouts and Thai basil and jalapeños were provided. 1 lime wedge per person. The rare steak and tendon weredoled out in moderate amounts. If you are hungry, order the large. The fried pork and taro rolls ("spring" rolls or "egg" rolls)were amazing too!!! You better get them! The che (dessert) was also really really good. With so many places in the area nearby to pick from for pho, I decided to try this place and was not disappointed. The sate... definitely gives the soup extra bomb of flavor. Love the Vietnamese iced coffee which comes pre-brewed, creamy and not overlysweet. Read more
Pho Sate?s pho is really good! Soup taste very clean, flavorful and green onions, onions add more taste to it ?????? meats... inside the soup were good too. I get my veggie steamed most of the time I visit Vietnamese pho restaurants because cold veggiemakes my soup cold and it?s more tasty when mung bean sprouts is warmed. Ask for it to be steamed when you visit! Menu is prettylarge but I want to try all the other dishes next time. Cash, credit cards all accepted. Parking was good and easy. Read more
My new favorite Pho spot in the DMV. Food quality and service here is great. My friends frequent this location a couple of times... a month. I stopped by recently and ordered the pork with taro egg rolls, Vietnamese ice coffee, large #1 with an extra side ofmeatballs, onions and tripe. Now their sate sauce is made in house and is mild even for me. If you love the heat you may have toorder extra. The location on a busy Saturday is managed very well. Don't be turned away by the long lines they get you in andout quickly. The entire staff is wearing gloves and masks. I like the high ceilings and plenty of spaced out seating for largeparties. Ordered Take out from this establishment on 11/21/22. This is the extent of my Eye Round and Flank steak after I poured out all... of the broth. Pathetic. Totally screwed me on the portions. BE CAREFUL ordering take out from this crooked restaurant. Read more
