I wanted to like this place. Desperately. But I just can\'t. \"Chicken\" is in their name, and the chicken is not good. I have... gotten only halfway through both wrap and salad and had to abandon them.\n\nThe saving grace is that one of the cashiers issuper nice. It\'s a clean place. Prices are reasonable compared to nearby vendors of similar menus. Drinks are bottled.\n\nIhave not tried the Ful dishes, which have a good reputation. Read more

You gotta be kidding me good. From the outside it looks like a cheap dump. On the inside the food is fresh, tasty and a great... value. Wish I had tried it sooner. Menu includes a bunch of Sudanese stuff I can\'t wait to try. Read more

Chicken is delicious. White meat chicken was juicy and so flavorful; really impressed because it could have been dark meat it... was so tender and good. Carrot cake was moist and great texture; had a little more frosting than I typically like but I ate itall- scrumptious and homemade flavor, not like from a can. I think I will start to come here weekly to try different plattersand desserts. Read more

What caused me to pull over and try Oozie Chicken was a large group of DC taxicabs in the parking lot. Cabbies definitely know... what’s up with secret spots.\n\nFirst time I got a lamb and beef shawarma wrap. The home baked bread was fantastic. Like pitawith very fine crispy and flaky crust. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. The veggies were fresh.\n\nThis time I gotthe beef shawarma plate. It also includes a large serving of basmati rice. Definitely worth $14. Could have easily made twosmall meals. I had to struggle to finish it.\n\nMy favorite part next to the awesome food, was a lively political discussionwith two gentlemen from Jordan at the next table. One of them was exceptionally informed on global macro economics. Could havebeen a PhD. Loved it Read more

I got the rotisserie chicken rice bowl. It took 3 people to eat half of it so I think I got a good value (10.99). The taste is... only alright though. I liked the bell peppers, and I don\'t usually like bell peppers. Read more

New spot in town. We decided to stop by during a power outage in our neighborhood because our other spots were closed.\n\nIt was... freezing during our entire meal. The spot was clean and so were the bathrooms. The staff is friendly and welcoming.\n\nThe foodwas OK. We ordered a full chicken which came with two sides and sauces. It\'s advertised as Peruvian Chicken but my taste budsbeg to differ. The \"white sauce\" had a familiar taste but the \"green sauce\" was different. It was too acidic (too muchlemon) and it was spicy. It didnt blend well together.\n\nThe fries and yucca were delicious and cooked perfectly.\n\nI ordereda chicken bowl to go. I haven\'t had a chance to eat it.\n\nThey offer Horchata, Tamarind and Mango juice. No fountainsoda.\n\nTheir menu was smaller than I imagined.\n\nIt\'s a spot you have to try for yourself. We enjoyed our service and meal, but I\'m not sure we\'ll return soon. Read more
