Lee?s is our go-to for sandwiches to take on a hike or out in the country for the day. My family typically goes for veg #12,... pork #6 and most of the time we pay to add avocado. Be aware tho that there have been occasions I pay for avocado and they haveforgotten. Maybe check before you leave. Read more
Stopped by as it was on my way home from work. Ordered their #11 Combination. After 15 minutes of waiting I notice they gave... one of those to someone who came in after me. I went to the counter and the woman making sandwiched said the guy who took myorder never gave it to her. Then, after 5 more minutes they give me something else, because they say that's what the guy whotook my order charged me for. No apologies, just told me to call the owner if I had an issue. Baguettes is better than other ban mi restaurants with crunchy crust but ban mi sandwich prices are higher. To be fair their... sandwich sizes are considered large at other ban mi places. Pork and shrimp spring rolls and summer rolls were just average. Read more
I ordered a SMALL ice coffee. I saw when they were making it she FILLED the cup with ice I asked her if she could do less ice ... she removed some and again some more. When it was okay she filled the cup with coffee only half way (same as the ice amount) smh- what kinda of B.S is that?! Paid $6 to get half a small cup of coffee?! Disappointed. This time, I tried the rice with grilled pork chop & meat loaf. It's a very traditional rice dish that you can... find at any Vietnamese restaurant. The rice was mushy (they added too much water when cooking the rice), the pork chop was nottender and flavorful, and I couldn't taste the fish sauce at all. You'd better go somewhere else like Eden Center or some otherVietnamese restaurants in the same area if you want something having more flavor and cooked right. This place itself was fine, as far as the sandwiches go. However, most of the tables were not clean, and the food was overpriced... in my opinion. The Arlington location was cleaner, but still overpriced I think. I paid almost twelve dollars for a banh misandwich and a small Vietnamese iced-coffee, which was about half ice and half coffee. On top of that, I noticed that thebottled coffees have artificial flavorings, and I think that all natural is the better way to go. Otherwise, the staff were niceand I enjoyed my sandwich, although it would have been nicer if the bread was slightly crunchy. Read more
Today the 9th of September, 2021, I went to Lee's sandwich deli in Annandale, VA to get some vegetables rolls (bi cuon chay) to... eat for dinner. When I got home and ready to eat, I open the plastic wrap which was wrapped the rolls package, and remove thelid container sauce, oh my God the lid has some molds on its. I show to my husband as he is my witness, this is no joke! Ibelieve the lid container hasn't washed and be picked up from some where in the kitchen counter and reused. The owner should becareful because serving food to customers and not cleanliness like this, if the customer has health issues after they ate thefood, he/she could sue this deli. What happened to your store??? The sandwiches are not the same anymore. If you are going to charge a certain price please please... do not skimp out on your products and make your meat paper thin and change your ingredients. Your sandwiches used to beabsolutely delicious and full of mayonnaise and meats and veggies. I understand these times are hard but your time is about tobe harder because this location just lost some loyal customers. Poor judgment on the management side. We are very disappointed. Read more
