Reviews for Huong Viet Restaurant in Falls Church, VA
I was told by a friend this place had the best Pho in the DC area and it lived up to that expectation fully. The service was... spectacular, waiters were promt, respectful, food came out quickly, and the Pho.... let me just say my taste buds were on cloud9 drinking that broth, which was clean, clear and perfectly savory, the meat was moist and tender, the noodles were soft andtender without being friable or mushy; the perfect texture for soup noodles. The side of spring rolls I got was nothing specialbut nothing to complain about, the Pho is the real star of the show. 10/10 would come here again if I'm ever in the DC areaagain Read more
My friend took me to Eden Center and it was quite a treat, and our rich tour centered around a delicious meal here. We started... with the fried rolls, they were perfectly crisp, with a succulent filing, and went well with fish sauce-based dipping sauce. Weenjoyed a trip of mains: A rice wrap dish called Banh Hoi Nem Nuong where you dip the rice wrap briefly in warm water and thenfill with a soft, woven shredded noodle and meat and again ideally dip in either the peanut sauce or the fish sauce. Reallysolid sausage in the one we tried. A fried noodle dish named Mi Xao Gion where the noodles are dried and fried crisp, presenting like raw ramen noodles and topped with a thick curry sauce and lots of veggies, meat, and seafood. Very tasty aswell. Last and best was the epic fried crepe dish called Banh Xeo filled with sprouts and seafood. The flavor of the crepealone was enough, and the filling was a welcome accent. Service was blazingly fast, they may have been laser printing the foodin the back, I'm not sure. It's a no frills place, cash only close at 8pm during the week. And while they will provide anythingyou need (an additional utensil, sauce, etc), they're not holding your hand and checking on you every second. Looking forwardto returning and enjoying more items in the future. Read more

The restaurant is nice and clean, with unique decorated ceiling. Service was fast. The bun bo hue was really good, well balanced... flavors and spices. It paired well with lemon and fresh veggies. I also like their ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee withcondensed milk), rich and delicious. I wish I could live closer, I?d go here every weekend. The only inconvenience is that theydon?t accept credit cards. Read more
Our favorite Vietnamese restaurant . If you are looking for classy date vibes this is not the place but if you are looking for... awesome, hearty, home cooking only a Vietnamese mom can make, then this place be it! Service is fast-paced and tables arerarely empty on a weekend but it is sooo worth the wait. Spring rolls are freshly fried and crispy, pho soups are hot andflavorful and lemongrass grilled beef is delicious. I?m salivating just thinking about it ???? Oh and bring CASH ! Read more
Arguably one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I?ve been to. Every piece of meat was so tender in the pho. Never had that in my... experience. Not 5 stars because the service is pretty wack. They don?t quite understand that tip is customary and chased usdown for 15 cents. Our table was still dirty when they told us to sit and when we asked for it to be cleaned, they handed us afew napkins and left. Read more
I have to say the food here was much better than I expected as I haven't had great Vietnamese food, but this restaurant... certainly was tasty. Pros: The pork and beef dishes had such intense flavor that dipping in the side sauces just made them thatmuch better. However, can't go wrong whether it's a soup, or played dish. Cons: Still cash only and it's definitely not a cheapplace. Also some of the workers were pretty rude like we were bothering them coming in to eat ... On the flip side a lot of thegood asian places I've found tend to not have the nicest workers - go figure. Read more
The food is $20 per plate but it?s a HUGE portion. They have Bun Dau Mam Tom for $25, but it needs more veggies on it. The... crispy noodles need more veggies. The soft noodles combo is pretty good. Read more
