Great food, I ordered the Hot N Tender basket and it was made very well! My sister loves this place and gets ?get your feet wet?... she enjoyed it as well! Top level Seafood broil , yes it might be expensive but it?s well worth it . I?d rather pay for great food than be cheap and get... not so great food . Ordered takeout, and by the time I got home the shrimps were mushy. Otherwise great food and great service. The Cajun calamari... in particular were really good. Wasn't expecting much from it but it might be my favorite at hot n juicy now. Slightlyoverpriced but will definitely be returning for more. Read more
Been here a few times and I come here for the juicy crab legs drenched in sauce! And their wings, breaded how I like them! I?m... not too much a fan of spicy food so I always opt for the mild sauce option, but even their mild has a kick to it that makes mynose run. I've never been to this restaurant; however, my son wanted to go for his birthday. I traveled almost 2 hours and paid a... ridiculous amount of tolls, but I'd have to say that it was worth it. *Side note, VA Get it together* The atmosphere, customerservice, and food were impeccable. Nick was my server, and he was amazing! Patient and courteous. My son got the "Get yourfeet wet" in their house sauce, and he loved it. I am no stranger to spicy food. I've had enough exposure to hot dishes that you might say I've been, pun fully intended,... seasoned. So it was with confidence that I marched into the Hot N' Juicy location at Falls Church and boldly ordered both thefried shrimp and friend catfish basket with Cajun seasoning. My waiter told me that it would be a mild kick, and I figured thatit would be nothing too out of the ordinary for me. I was wrong. The Cajun seasoning was hot enough to force tears andsniffles throughout nearly all of my meal. The catfish was tolerable and quite tasty, but the shrimp, because of what was nodoubt excessive batter, was almost too hot to eat which of course diminished my enjoyment of the dish. Still, I overall likedwhat I ate and would return again (although I'd obviously choose a much less intense spice). My waiter was helpful but not asattentive as I would like.
