I love this original place. The décor is fantastic and the food is wonderful and local. The owners are the chefs and they... really care about their community. They play hilarious bloopers on a real that keeps you entertained with a smile. The staff isgreat also. I will definitely go again for the food. Read more
I was very disappointed. It took almost 20 minutes after we were seated to even put in a drink order. When we finally ordered... drinks and stuffed mushrooms the mushrooms came out cold and watery with no plates or utensils. Had to finally go to the hostessstation to ask for them. Once we got our food they just put it on the table without asking if we needed more water or otherdrinks, which we did. The food was good but definitely not worth the price. Once we were finished eating we waited another 20minutes if not more for the check. Once again had to go to the hostess to ask for the check. They were busy but had 3 serversand only 7 tables. There was no reason we should have had to wait like we did. For 3 people and 2 drinks it was definitely notworth almost $90.. Read more

Recently reopened restaurant, once a paper mill, with new owners cooking in the kitchen on Main Street in downtown... Fallbrook. Walk in the front door and feel the old time atmosphere with vintage decor to assure you can feel the mood of a pastera! Our waitress was friendly and excited to be a new Fallbrook resident sharing the excellent choices on the menu like ApplePulled Pork Sliders, Mushroom Onion Blue Cheese Burger, Mediterranean Burger, and Mac N Cheese. All Buns, Bread, and Sourdoughat The Coal Bunker are baked fresh everyday in the local bakery nearby. I highly recommend this local restaurant to enjoydelicious food and a memorable experience! The best place in Fallbrook! Food was amazing, service was impeccable (Tyson is the best), and what incredible decor. They made... us feel welcome and valued as customers. I got the wedge salad. My only mistake was that I didn't order the full. It was sodelicious that I wanted more! The Bunker Burger also did not disappoint in the slightest. Cooked to perfection and the taste wason point.
