What an amazing restaurant! From the fresh homemade Italian food to the all around customer service, this hidden gem is a MUST!... Just recently celebrated a birthday on a Friday here & I can?t say enough about how great this place is. The food is cookedfresh, they have daily specials, a fine selection of wine/beer and a variety of food options (Vegetarian Friendly). The staffis just as great as the place is, the owner was just so inviting and working hard like everyone else. They have a Garden like,heated patio for outdoor seating as well as indoor and during summer months, live music is played on FRI & SAT. Ordered this chicken salad, it could have been better if it was green apples, craisins, a mixture of greens. The chicken wasn't... fresh, seasoned and salted instead of it being pre-cooked, rubbery and warmed up in a microwave. The "homemade' dressing for it,wasn't sure of what it consisted of but it was very unpleasant and didn't enhance any flavors of the ingredients in the Salad. Great service and great food. The bruchetta was a perfect start with crusty yet soft and warm bread with the zesty tomato and... olive topping. Alla Diana is a very tasty vegetarian pasta dish with wonderful, savory, flavors. The seafood salad had perfectlycooked seafood and the tomatoes were really good, not an afterrhought. Great food and service! Whenever I dine at Brothers, I'm always greeted like family, and served as an honored guest. The food... is delicious and the portions are generous. They have an excellent selection of wine and dishes on their menu. They are alsoone of the few restaurants in Fallbrook that offers live music. Food was very good. Wonderful atmosphere with many different trees, vines and exotic plants, They outdoor seating area was very... relaxing, among the fabulous foliage. The night I went featured live entertainment and it was packed. My husband and I wereable to mingle with people who we knew, as it happens in Fallbrook. We definitely will come back. Read more
Pros: 1. Waitress was friendly and attentive. 2. The patio is calm and inviting including a pond with koi fish. Cons: 1.... Unavailability of food. We tried to order a calzone and Stromboli but they said they didn't have the equipment to make them orthe chef that makes them was out (couldnt understand the reasoning) . Then we tried to order a salad to which they didn't havethe ingredients for (wedge salad). Then we tried to order their spinach and mushroom pizza and they didn't have the ingredientsto make that. 2. Mushy soggy pizza. Once we finally got to order something they had ingredients to make we settled on twopizzas a vegetarian and the meat lovers. The crust on both were terrible, nearly burnt on the bottom soggy and undercooked ontop and the crust was like a tire. The vegetarian was mushy weighed down by the uncooked nearly raw vegetables. 3. Not worththe price. With two salads and 2 pizzas our bill was over $80 which I would be happy to pay for quality but this was nowherenear. 4. Lack of empathy. Our waitress had to come back interrupting our conversation at the table 3 different times to tellus they couldn't fulfill our order and then we had to re order again. With all the issues you would expect a bit more empathy.Comp a desert or even just a simple closing of an apology. Something that would lead us to believe these issues weren't typicalpractice in this restaurant . (And no we were friendly, patient and understanding with the waitress when she addressed theissues) We were told that their food shipment was arriving the next day which was the issue.. The lack of ingredients to supplycustomers with their orders especially on something as simple as a salad seems odd considering they're right next door to asupermarket. This left me questioning the freshness of the food. If the delivery is arriving tomorrow how fresh was the food iate today. I left thankful I didn't order one of the many seafood items on the menu.
