Shrimp Mozambique, Steak Dakota, bread, soup all amazing. I feel like I died and went to a Portuguese bonanza. If you like food... your going to love sagres. The wait staff is always welcoming and amazing. They aren't perfect but I guess you don't have to bewhen the food is this good. I've ordered and have had totally different food brought out and pretty much told to bad, deal withit. And I'm fine with it because the food is amazing. So there is that. Read more
The food was delicious, the waitress went out of her way to help us choose the items on the menu and make sure we were happy,... other workers were also nice and attentive. The portions were big and reasonably priced. We ended up taking half of our food tothe hotel (but were too full to finish it of course, so we put it in the fridge). Then, the next day it travelled with us toCanada (!)in our lunch box with ice packs, and on coming home we had it for dinner. With some fresh veggies and condiments fromthe fridge, we had enough food to fill us up (and we are not small people). I definitely recommend the restaurant. Read more
I was visiting the area on vacation and wanted some good real seafood. Something that was surprisingly difficult to find in that... area. I ordered the seafood paella from Sagres and was not disappointed. I ordered it to go which they seemed sort of put offby. Maybe that doesn't happen often but either way they took great care of me and the food was delicious! Read more
Food was heavenly. Environment was joyful. This is my favorite restaurant. Flavorful food, pleasant waitstaff. Delicious food... with the feel of heart and soul alive here. The owner, I saw changing tablecloths. I was struck by his humility and desire forexcellence in all things. Read more
