Good but nothing mind blowing. I got the ravioli. Generous portions of seafood. Sauce was pretty average. There was a party... upstairs on the night we went. Very loud. Very provocative music. Was not the ambiance I expected at a fairly nice restaurant.The interior did look nice. I don't know what authentic Portugese food tastes like, but whatever we had was pretty good. Thereis free valet parking which is pretty cool. The valet guy completely ignored us, so we parked on our own. I guess our car wasn'tfancy enough. There were a lot of fancy cars there. All of the waitresses were good looking. I have a feeling that that is ahiring criteria. I didn't get good vibes from this place. I would probably try the other Portugese restaurants before cominghere again. Must be better ones out there. Read more
The atmosphere and service were very good. I would also like to say Steak nachos were hands down the best I've ever had and were... layered perfectly. We also had pizza and Shrimp Mozambique. The pizza was overly greasy and too much cheese (and I like lots ofcheese on my pizza). I would try going again based on how excellent the nachos were but probably would not have pizza again. Mesa is an excellent choice. The food is always great and buck a shuck is great on Sundays if you like oysters. This is an... excellent stop in Fall River. You will not be disappointed with the menu. Read more
The Cajun chicken and Shrimp pasta with sausage is easily one of my favorite dishes in the area. Fish sandwich, steak sandwich... and their pizza is solid as well. Can't go wrong here. Read more
This was my first time at Mesa 21 and I had a great experience! It took a little bit to get seated but it was super busy and a... few grad parties were going on so I get it. Once we were seated service was very quick. The pear martini was awesome! I also hadthe octopus and a shrimp dish that was both fantastic! Highly recommend! Read more
Wait times for seating vary (understandable), however a timed average of up to 25 minutes for being given a receipt or for a... return visit after you've finished dining (a little long). The food can be really well-made and delicious and leads towardsaffordable pricing. (Great value for quality). Menu could make do with a visual presentation at the tables to let thecustomer(s) have an increased chance to spend more money on food they see and think to be delicious. Plus provides insight tothe food theyre interested in (Optional advice). ^^^Also a picture of their pumpkin pie that I took that honestly looksdelightful as an example. In all, a great welcoming place for repeat customers, that can always take opportunities to make itjust much better for new-comers and for repeaters alike! I made dinner reservations a month prior to my son's 30th birthday. This was my first time ever making reservations therefore I... was quite nervous. Nevertheless the staff at Mesa 21 was very patient with me. My anxiety prior to his birthday was high. When iarrived they escorted us upstairs, which to my surprise we had the whole floor to ourselves. When Thursday nights are theirbusiest night. The atmosphere is very cozy, with nice design and intimate lighting. Staff was lovely and very attentive. Theservice was wonderful and the food was amazing. For starters I ordered Mozambique shrimp rolls, my main course mesa 21 steakwell done and my drink...manhattan..very delicious. The price was reasonable and their portion was great. Excellent service and food. The staff is very well organized and hustles to provide the best service. The food is great. Taco... Tuesday is a must try. $2.00 tacos with either dirty or truffle fries will hit the spot. The tacos are either: fish, chicken,pork or beef. My fav is the chicken. We went back and tried the Italian pizza. We also ordered the calamari and could not eatit all. The large pizza is like an extra large at most places. The Dragon Fire Nachos are insanely tasty and filling. TheKing Prime Rib special on Thursday is superb. Mine was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My wife gave the scallops athumbs up. Back again and tried the Cod Cakes, which were excellent and I don?t like seafood. Our friend had the salmon and hesaid, ?Good salmon, good potatoes, good food.? My wife says every time we come here it runs like a well oiled machine. Everything we have tried has been great. Read more
