Don't waste your time. When we first walked in to be seated, we had to awkwardly witness one of the servers complaining to the... hostess about all the customers she was seating in his section. I ordered the blackened salmon and it was overcooked andflavorless. The lemon butter was overpowering and the mashed potatoes were cold and gritty. The manager first offered to take itoff the bill then came back and tried to say I ate most of the small piece of salmon. I did not appreciate her attitude. Theburgers were cheap frozen patties, flavorless and disappointing as well. I've had better food at a hospital cafeteria. The onlygood thing was the game room that my kids thoroughly enjoyed. Took my family out to eat here and we all enjoyed our food. I got the Portuguese steak plate and it was delicious. The steak was... cooked perfectly and I love that it was piled high with chourico and a fried yokey egg to dip my fries. Even though the gravywas not a traditional Portuguese sauce it was still very good. I recommend asking for an extra side of sauce because itdefinitely made the meal. My boyfriend always gets the gold finger mac and cheese which he absolutely loves. It was pricey and alittle loud so that was why I gave it only 4 stars. Read more
Barretts has made a decline in service and food over the past few years. The prices increased about 75% and the food has gone so... far downhill. I still continued to give them a chance. Last night I went with 5 of my friends so there was 6 of us total. When Iput in my name at 830 they told us it would be a 45 minute wait. We waited by the bar and had a drink while waiting. After 90minutes of waiting I went to the hostess stand to check on the status of our table. They said well we can't sit 6 of youtogether so that's why we haven't given you a table. I guess had I not gone to the hostess stand we would have never been sat. II formed them we actually have 5 now as one had left. They sat us at a table immediately. We waited another 20 minutes before aserver approached. She then informed us the kitchen was closed and they were only serving pizza. At this point we were waiting 2hours for service and now we couldn't eat unless it was pizza. My friends and I left and will not be returning. Horribleservice. Very rude. Read more
