I can?t sing enough praises for Estelle! Cute, classy space - yet informal and friendly. Wonderful service from people who... clearly care about who and what they?re serving. Creative, delicious cocktails and an impressively long list of liquors andliqueurs. Impeccable, fresh, delicious, innovative food that truly feels like you?ve never had this combination of ingredients?? We ate at the bar, which felt a little like a speakeasy, which was also fun. Really surprisingly great experience. We came here on a whim not expecting to eat a large dinner. But upon seeing the reviews... and the menu, started getting hungry! We were seated in the patio which was really nice on a hot day. I think the best thingabout the food is that the taste is very unique and well-balanced. For example, the shrimp dish had a creamy sauce that wasslightly tangy so it wasn't too heavy. Additionally the shrimp was nicely charred with amazing taste. The Anolini Nero was thestar of the meal. Roasted corn added a nice sweetness and the pasta wasn't too heavy either. Loved the mild sauce with driedtomatoes. Each dish left us craving more so we ended up getting 2 dessert dishes. Estelle - there's only love for this place. Every time I dine at Estelle, their service is impeccable and their food is... beautiful and delicious. This is the place that I take my out of town guests to, or to celebrate a special occasion with familyand friends, or an intimate dinner date with my husband... because I know it's never going to disappoint... their high standardof patron care and exceptional menu... consistently top notch. Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. The host and the server were both very kind and welcoming. The pasta with jalapeno puree... was not spicy at all, which is good for me but if you're looking for a kick try the chicken kabob instead. The shrimp was verytasty too. Read more
Went out with a group of five girls and enjoyed the night! We had the blood orange salad and beets to start, both were great?... but the blood orange salad would win in a match. For entrees we got the chitarra x2, rigatoni x2 and Nero pasta. All weredelicious. Dessert was the star bar and raspberry cake. Couldn?t pick a favorite because they were that good! Wonderful restaurant. Loved the interior, especially the open kitchen. We ordered the croquettes, rigatoni, braised beef, and... portuguese egg tarts. The braised beef was my favorite item we ordered. It was rich, hearty, and so flavorful. Croquettes weremy least favorite item (would not order them again). Service was great! Our server knew we were celebrating so she gave us twofree drinks! Overall, I would come back again. Read more
I have been here twice, with very different experiences. The food and drinks were excellent both times. The first time I went... with a friend and we had an amazing time and really wonderful service. The second time, I went with my family, we were on timefor our reservation and were seated fairly quickly. But then we sat at our table for 20+ minutes without being acknowledged oreven given water. We could hear a couple of the servers talking about who was going to take us. When a server finally came, theydidn't say anything about it, they weren't particularly helpful with the menu, they were very slow to come back to check on us(can't remember if they did actually) and the food runners always seemed to be playing catchup, bringing plates and silverwareto the table after the food arrived. I have a few friends that go here frequently, so it seems like this was probably(hopefully) a one-off, but it was very disappointing. What was not disappointing was the corn squid-ink pasta. I don't know ifit's still on the menu but it's amazing. I had it both times I went and it was unique and delightful. Read more
