I frequent Starbucks and this location could stand to improve its service and atmosphere. The servers were not friendly and... seemed stressed out to be doing their job. One of the tables had supplies on it in an already small space. Read more

This place has gone down hill. Today my Mango Dragonfruit had NO flavor - was like drinking colored water. I drink these every... day - usually drive to a further away Starbucks. Also, a couple of weeks back this location had nothing - no Trenta cups, noVenti cups, no dragonfruit, no vanilla, just about nothing. Recommend taking an extra few minutes to drive down Woodmen. Personally, zero stars for customer service. I went there about an hour and a half prior to closing and bought an iced green... tea, sweetend. I asked for the Trenta. I also noticed that they had Military Spouse Appreciation today, and had asked about it.The barista told me, "I don't know what the specials are because we weren't told." She was being rude and catty about it andasked if I wanted my iced tea sweetend. I said, "yes" for the second time. As I walked out of the store and too the first drink,I realized it wasn't sweet. Now, I see why, after I looked at my cup. First off, as a former barista, and many years of customerservice experience, the barista definitely does not hold the starbucks motto "To inspire and nurture the human spirit ? oneperson, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time.? I visit this Starbucks regularly when I'm in town visiting, and I candefinitely say, I will not be returning. Baristas come on shift knowing what goes on for the day, and even if she really didn'tknow what the special was, she could have asked since it is a licensed store, they could have asked the manager of the operatingstore they're in. Also, as a military spouse, and it being "military spouse appreciation day," She was too rude for myliking. To the barista, Hello, nice to meet you. You work in starbucks, in a customer service industry. Please understand whatthe term "customer service" is and what it entails. I apologize if you have had a hard day, rough week, or month, or year, butplease understand everyone has their days and I truly hope that it was just a "bad day," if not, consider changing to anotherline of work. The employees here are so nice and ask clarifying questions about your drink orders. For example, I really wanted the shaken... brown sugar oatmilk espresso but made in hot. I asked if that could be made hot and she explained it just won't be shaken. Okfine with me. In the same order, I also ordered a white chocolate mocha and they asked if I wanted it topped with whippedcream. Yes, of course I do but I'm glad that they asked just to be sure. My drink was so delicious and my friend said his whitechocolate mocha was yummy too. They made my drinks correctly and asked questions to ensure I got what I wanted. What more couldI ask for? I don't understand the loyalty a lot of people have with Starbucks coffee. I have tried many different types of their hot coffee... and I give them a thumbs down. The hot drinks are barely warm and they taste awful. They are a watered down excuse for coffee, especially the decaf. I will not be buying from Starbucks in the future. I would much rather spend less money and get better hotcoffee at McDonalds. Their cold drinks (like the Caramel Frappe are far superior to anything Starbucks has. Read more
