Best dining experience I?ve had at an Applebees. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries. The fries were of standard... Applebees quality: solid, but nothing to write home about. However, the burger was phenomenal. Both of the patties were smashedto perfection and the entire sandwich itself looked like something you?d receive at an upscale burger joint. Ordered the appetizer sampler and it exceeded my expectations. It could have been the fact that I hadn?t eaten in 8 hours but... the mozz sticks truly hit different. The chips were freshly fried with a sprinkling of salt that was great with the providedsalsa. Was a little disappointed to see that the mini mousse is off the menu, so we opted to get dessert from Wegmansinstead. Went here on a date on a Sunday at 3pm. I ordered the bourbon street chicken, and my husband ordered the top sirloin. Honestly... it was probably the worst meal I?ve had out in years. He ordered his steak rare, and it was completely raw. My chicken wasundercooked and the rest of the meal was completely bland, no seasoning or anything. You could tell sides were microwaved ormade days prior. We both got completely sick later that day, and our bill was almost 60$ for Two entrees, a side of fries andtwo sodas. I cannot believe I had to pay that amount for food that was completely disgusting? I even considered dining anddashing- do not go here. You can spend the same amount at an actual restaurant. Depressing that A1 sauce doesn't automatically come with a steak. 2 or 3 separate times ordered online never got sauce. The one... time directly asked for it did not get it.... spoke to manager just to let him know my disappointment... hopefully somethingthat can be addressed.
