I waited awhile to have time for some BBQ. Well I was very let down. My pulled pork was cold. My brisket was so hard and tough I... couldn't barley chew it. When I asked about the brisket I was told they were trying new cooking methods. It was left at that. Igot a 3 meat plate. The mac and cheese was runny and semi warm. I should have drivin to Parma and went to Dickeys BBQ place. Iwas so disappointed in my meal and even more disappointed that i paid for that meal. Loved the chicken and brisket as it was very moist and tender .I didn?t care for the macaroni or baked beans but the cornbread... and butter was delicious. The fries and hush puppies are good as well. Nice employees and very clean inside. Read more

We used them for our wedding and it was perfect. Brooke was amazing with getting us together so last minute. The ladies were so... sweet and made the night as easy as possible. Good, authentic BBQ. Mac and cheese is amazing, breading and spices on it are good, adds sweet to the savory of the Mac and... cheese. They sell a decent variety of drinks ranging from sweet tea to their (in my opinion) main drink, Cheerwine(soft drink).If you want to bring a little bit of old Carolina home with you, you can also buy some BBQ sauce(sold upfront). There is nothing more obnoxious than fries that are not fully cooked. They looked good but they are not cooked! The rest of the... food was okay, pulled pork really good but I hate half cooked starchy hard fries! Also, the lady who handed me my container wasrunning her nose a lot. Very hospitable, spoke with the young lady who took my order and had informed me over the phone prior to my visit about what was... available, pricing and etc. I'm from NC, and lived there a majority of my life. Grew up with the best BBQ makers in the worldand with a name like "Old Carolina" I was expecting at least something comparable. It was spectacular, the smell in the air ofthe restaurant was an amazing addition to the atmosphere of the establishment and the friendly demeanor of the employees reallyhelped. On to the food, I ordered for $14 a two meat plate, which I chose baked beans, Mac'n cheese, and they give a side ofcornbread. The meat was pulled pork. It's served dry and they have a "Sauce bar" where you can choose your own sauce. I am fromthe Piedmont so once I saw there was a sauce claiming the name I had to try it. I was not disappointed in the slightest, themeat was cooked very well, you can really tell they took effort into the process of a 12 hour smoke, the sauce tasted like home.I've lived in OH for 2 years now and can faithfully say this was the best $14 I've spent in my time in OH on food so far. My honest review. Food was just okay at this particular location. I orders a platter that included ribs, pulled pork ,3 chicken... wings pulled chicken, and brisket with 2 side dishes. First off.... the brisket was extremely dry the pulled pork was cold. Theribs were really good and the wings are outstanding i substituted the pulled chicken for 3 more wings but I originally wanted tosubstitute the pulled chicken for a leg quarter and i was even willing to pay any additional upcharge but they acted as if itwas an issues to do this. The mac and cheese was really cold not warm at all and that baked beans was hot and warm. If I had todo it all over again I would probably just drive to the canton location never had an issue with that location. Read more
