so I get food from here often. The one negative thing I have to say is I once ordered a buffalo chicken quesadilla for takeout.... There was no cheese in the quesadilla, came with cheese on the side. By definition a quesadilla has cheese in it.. it holds thewhole thing together. I get it and it?s falling apart, nothing to hold it together. I know it states on the menu it?s on theside but it?s truly a menu flaw and I think they need to change it. Not only does nobody want to eat a tortilla with justchicken & tomatoes but it is also so unpractical and falls apart completely. Read more

Easily the best diner I've been to in a long time. Top 3 diners ever for sure. Every part of it was really remarkably great. The... place was packed, but the waiting was organized and not more than a few minutes. The menu is enormous, with lots of reallyinteresting and different choices. Our server was friendly and efficient, and came back to check on us regularly, we neverneeded to look for her. The food came out quickly, and when it did, it was as close to perfect as you can get. We had the Jack &Bean burger and the Sinatra sandwich, both with french fries. The black bean burger was flavorful and cooked exactly right, theroll was perfectly grilled, and the sauce (served on the side) was delicious. The Sinatra has a lot of parts (fried chickencutlet, prosciutto, arugula, fresh mozzarella, and a balsamic dipping sauce) which were each delicious and came together for areally special sandwich. And the fries were perfect! All the people we interacted with were genuinely friendly and helpful, andthe food was exceptional. We will be back very soon! Read more

The west Essex Diner is by far the BESTEST Diner we?ve ever dined at! It?s really nice, clean, spacious, with an overall modern... vibe. The waiter was sooo nice, friendly, and accommodating. This diner really has anything you could possibly want. The interior looks really modern and nice. Our waiter was quick to come... around and kept up with us frequently. The food all came out fresh, hot, and great! Pictured are the stuffed mushrooms, theknight sandwich and the New Yorker. Both were really good! The waffle fries were the better of the two in my opinion. I woulddefinitely return when I'm back in the area! Read more

Great experience. Came around 9am on a Sunday and we were seated right away. The server was fast and attentive. I ordered... Eggs Benedict with home fries well done and my husband had the Grand Slam. It was probably one of the best eggs Benedict I'vehad. My husban enjoyed his meal as well. The portions were huge and we were really happy with everything. Definitely arrive onthe earlier end- it filled up quite fast by the time we were leaving. Would definitely come back! Read more
