Great pizza! 12 inch pies - would recommend 3 for 4-5 people. Good for takeout. Recommend the pistachio pesto pie!

This place is a great hole in the wall. It's small but man is it good! They have a wood burning oven and it smells amazing!

The best kind of 'hole in the wall' place - delicious pizza napoletana made in front of you with a wood burning oven using a mix... of fresh and quality imported ingredients from Italy. I absolutely love it, my favorite in New Jersey - the closest you'll getto Naples, Italy. I make it a point to go as close to weekly as I can. Under the radar gem. Read more

Extremely poor service. My brother in law ordered pizza and was told there was an ATM there. Upon arrival he was told there was... no ATM and that he had to go to the hotel. He drove to the hotel and got money and then he asked the guy if he can reheat thepizza and they guy refused. He gave him an attitude, was nasty about plates and the overall experience was just terrible. Smallpizzas, very expensive and on top of that you get terrible service and a nasty attitude. Just not worth it. Read more

I had the Margherita pizza. It was great. Great taste and texture. After eating the whole pie, I was wanting more. It was very... delicious. The owner knows how to make quality pizza. New Jersey has many pizzerias, but Double Zero is definitely a cut abovethe rest. Of course this is my personal opinion, but living in NJ all my life and trying countless pizzas, you should stop thereand try there pizza. To the owner, thank you for fantastic wood oven fired pizza and great conversation while making the pizza. Read more

A Random pop in for the Pizza Hunters App turns into a 5 star experience. Ordered the Margherita Pizza for $14 cash ($13 on the... menu), but who cares, they use the best ingredients. San Marzano tomatoes with fresh mozzarella with a wood fire oven. It wasexcellent all around and I cannot wait to go back to try a different pizza. The owners were very nice and provided greatcustomer service as well. Read more

I went to the East Coast in July and totally forgot to write a review. That's how life during a pandemic is... Wow! Wow! Wow! ... Double Zero Pizza makes one of the best wood oven pizzas! The slightly charred bubbles and edges r so full of flavor.. Thecrust is soooo good!! Just the perfect amount of dough. He uses authentic ingredients such as oil and tomato from Italy. Theowner knows his craft. He is a true artist. He and his wife are super nice.. It was a phone order after I justed landed inNewark. I got a bit lost. He called me and was worried that I had not arrived yet and that the pizza wouldn't be good cuz' ithad cooled.. When I finally arrived, he was standing outside with the box of pizza... What hospitality!! A definite place toeat when u r in New Jersey!! Read more

Terrific pizza place JUST past Unique Photo headed west. The tomatoes and olive oil they use are so tasty. I remember the owner... introducing me to San Marzano tomatoes a few years ago. Damn fine sandwiches too. I haven't tried any entrees but I suspectthey'd be excellent too. The owners are wonderful and will take good care of you! A not to be missed gem of a pizzeria! DavePortnoy has gotta check them out! Read more
