Hahaha Menu is cute here! We had the ?Moms of Fairfield? and ?Jersey Shore? breakfast sandwiches. Doesn?t open till 11 though.... ???? I kinda miss the old 7-11 slurpie but you can get boozy icees at the Reef Shack. Lol. Love the outdoor space here. Niceservice and Fun vibe. Read more
Visited Reef Shack for lunch and was very impressed with everything we had! They?re really well known for their cheesesteaks, so... we ordered a half sandwich of the Reefer Cheesesteak, which was super filling. The bread comes fresh from the Bronx daily! Wealso had the Jersey Shore breakfast sandwich, which comes with Taylor Ham (Pork Roll) fresh from New Jersey. I think it?sawesome how the owners of the Reef Shack go the extra mile to bring in things that are tough to find in CT like Taylor Ham! Thewings had plenty of meat on the bone, and the homemade Italian ice sorbets were super refreshing. They have a ton of flavors tochoose from, and I?d love to come back in the summer for more. The frozen lemonade is also a good choice! The Reef Shack issuper laid back, and I really look forward to coming back in the warmer weather to enjoy their patio area. Read more
Ordered about an hour before closing. Food was ready within about 20 minutes. Ordered fries, pesto sandwich and lemonade.... Lemonade was more like water and lemon juice maybe I was supposed to ask for sugar. Fries were ok. Pesto had great flavor, freshmozzarella, Chicken cutlet cooked well-very delicious. Huge sandwich as well. All together the sandwich was just OK- maybe itwas the sesame grinder that made it weird. Will come back another time very soon. Menu has lots of options. Read more
Reef Shack is one of our new favorite spots in Fairfield. All of the staff are so nice and helpful while you are looking over... their huge menu. They offer a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They are also starting to have longer hourseach day of the week so you can enjoy for any meal of the day. The sandwiches are great tasting. I really like the food and definitely hit the spot. It was one of the better lunches I had in... quite a while. Ordering is a little challenging, the cashier is at the ice cream side and not at the front deli-ish counter. Sodon?t expect them to say who?s next or try to catch their attention, you?ll be waiting there like me trying to place an order.Parking is tricky, there is a lot but delivery truck(s) were there, street parking. Atmosphere, I did not feel comfortable. It?sa cop place so I got two hard look from a plain clothes and marine patrol person while waiting. Overall, liked the sandwichesand definitely worth a visit. Not sure what happened to my old review, but this place is still 5 star after 6 months. I?ve had cheesesteaks (both chicken and... steak), their chicken little sandwich, a bunch of bacon egg and cheeses, cheese burger, and omelettes. All of them have a fewthings in common: quality ingredients, large portions, and a ton of flavor. Read more
Ordered the reef out cheesesteak with no peppers, a da luke with avocado and egg, cheese fries and chowder fries. The order was... right out exactly on time, the servers were quick and friendly. The food was expertly wrapped which made it easy to takehome. When we got home the food itself had huge portions and was brilliant and tasty. Definitely worth future visits. Read more
Great food, great service! We place a large order for 10+ people and we have such a difficult time finding restaurants that meet... dietary needs and can handle an order that large. Food was GREAT, amazing variety, but most importantly IT WAS ALL CORRECT!Everyone got the meal they asked for - - special instructions followed, no one was missing anything. That is so hard to come by!The portions are also generous - if you get a full sub its going to last 2 meals. Cant wait to order from them again! Read more
