We had the best breakfast. I had the French toast with country potatoes and over easy eggs. It was delicious, everything was... prepared perfectly????. He had the chicken scrabble with hash and a side of toast and was impressed start to finish. Definitelymaking a return trip. Read more

I?m from out of the area but this place is definitely not a 4.5 star sorry. Understaffed food cold and not welcoming. Maybe at... one point this place was good but not anymore. Read more

Very good breakfast fair, with nice simple menu. Prices are on par with other breakfast lunch establishments but service here is... very friendly and personable. Your requests are granted without any pushback or attitude. Very friendly and attentive staffmakes the experience pleasant. Read more

Great customer service with a loyal customer base. It is a little pricey and not all the foot is great but the omelets are most... definitely worth it. Order the omelets! Read more

I went here today for some breakfast and had the ultimate egg skillet with 2 types of cheese, olives, avocado, bacon, onions,... hash browns at the bottom. It was so good and then even had sour cream and salsa on the side. I also tried there strawberrylemonade which was absolutely good and refreshing for a warm day. I will definitely go back if I?m in the area again. Read more

Well, this place wasn't terrible....but it wasn't great either. My wife ordered lunch, which was a burger (sorry no photo) and... said it was very good. I on the other hand ordered breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs with fried rice. The friedrice was ok. Not the best I've had. The chicken fried steak was really thin. I mean really thin. The country gravy on it wasvery good and my sunny side up eggs, well they're eggs. Our server was very nice and made sure we had what we needed. The onlyissue we had was after ordering our food, we must've waited at least half an hour to get it. The place was not even that busy, but it seemed to take a long time to get our meal. I'd probably go back, but I will definitely try something other than thechicken fried steak. If I want that again, Black Bear diner is the place to go. Read more

Facility: We arrived around 12noon. The floor was dirty. Food items were under our table (see photo). The table was... sticky. Staff: Our waitress was nice and was very attentive to the needs of my children. Speed of Food Upon Order: We were oneof the last ones to come in because they close at 2pm. The timeliness of of the food after we ordered it was a 6 out of 10. Tooktoo long for simple (in my opinion) orders of breakfast. Food: 1. Big portions even the kids menu. 2. PANCAKES tasted rubberyand not much flavor. Tasted like flour. 2. OMELET: Was tasty. One of the best omelets in Fairfield. We had #7 in the Omeletsmenu. My wife added chorizo in her omelet. Mine was regular #7 with fried rice and an English muffin. Fried rice wasmediocre?not much eggs in there. 3. Price: I paid approx $70 with 12% tip for a family of 6. 4. Recommend? A. I would recommendthe Omelet (#7) as that?s the only ones my wife and I orders her. But other omelets from what I saw other customers orderappeared to look as good as the ones we ordered. B. Facility appeared dirty?so No. we almost turned around and walked out. Butwe were hungry. C. Final thoughts: I will Definitely will order the omelet again. But I do not think my family and I will beback here. There are a lot of other breakfast restaurants in old downtown Fairfield we have eaten several times before. Theyare better (tastier, cleaner facility). I would not bring friends and visiting family to this restaurant. Read more
