Food was good to go, restaurant was clean, service was a little to be desired. Waitress took food order but never came back to... check on us. Had to go find someone to ask for BBQ sauces. Had separate checks, original party of 8. Only two separate checkswere made, however both checks were charged for the automatic tip for a large party. How are checks going to divided, yet youcharge the party tip included. With bad service, you walked away with a built in tip, you really did not deserve. Good BBQ at a reasonable price. The sauces were good and the turkey tasted really good as well. My daughter enjoyed the Mac... and cheese and my wife loved her stuffed spud. Service wasn't great but it was also close to closing time which could explainthat. Still worth going to. Read more
Food was decent. Service was good, but check your receipt prices compared to the menu prices. We got a kid’s cheeseburger -... listed as such on the kid’s menu - and were charged extra for the cheese. We also got the Sidecar Special, listed as $9, butwere charged $11 because “some of the side items cost more than others.” Lastly we were charged $20 for the Tennessee Tripleinstead of $17. They did adjust it by $3.50 when we asked. I understand the economic situation is difficult but transparency byposting price changes is the better way to go. Read more
This is everything I order , foods all gone so no food pick, How The F , does this place only have have 4.1 stars , Let me tell... y’all Texas Briskit was fire , I also got a slab of ribs with the surfing sweet BBQ , men that was good, and the Wings withthe sweet chilie sauce 10/10, everything was really good , that chocolate cake and bread pudding with the Ice cream and Carmelsauce was the icing on the cake , highly recommend this place. Love the pulled pork and the potato salad is out-of-this world. The people working there are very attentive and nice. We are... happy that we have a Red Hot and Blue in Fairfax. Today many people came from the Fairfax Courthouse after the Johnny Depptrial, and likely be back tomorrow. Excitement watching his car go by. Read more
Disappointing service. Your curbside sign says to call if you're not greeted by someone in a minute. Okay, no one comes out.... Call and someone comes out to tell me my food will be right out. Wait... 20 minutes later, I have to go in to ask where my foodis and even then it takes a few minutes to locate it.... and it's just been sitting there on the bench with all the othercarryout food. At the Fairfax location you get this tiny plate of a few pieces of lettuce and some dried up meat for a smokehouse salad. I went... to the Warrenton location and got a huge plate with moist meat and I had a hard time trying to eat it all. I do not recommendthe Fairfax location. Read more
Excellent BBQ and a wide variety of BBQ sauces and sides. You can get your ribs rubbed, tangy or sweet. Sides are generously... sized and the garden salad is very large for a side salad. We have been coming here for years for the food, but the place isnicely decorated with a Memphis blues/jazz theme. Biggest issue is getting into and out of the parking lot. It is a tight fit,so if you have options, don't bring that big pickup. Highly recommend. Read more
