Reviews for Nanjing Bistro in Fairfax, VA

As someone who?s born and raised in China, I can attest this restaurant serves authentic Chinese food. They specialize in... Nanjing dishes, a sub category of the larger JiangSu cuisine, known for light and delicate yet umami flavors. Typically thesedishes are not spicy and served in well-seasoned broth. I recommend Nanjing salty duck, Nanjing style shredded tofu in broth, meatball soup casserole, dry pot cabbage, and Nanjing pan fried bao. Don?t be fooled by their google map description. AnyChinese restaurant can make Chinese American food but Nanjing regional cuisine is really hard to come by. I encourage folks togive the real specialties a try! Read more

One word: authentic. And the price is really good in the current market. The waiter lady was nice.

They serve authentic Chinese food. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Take one star off because some dishes are salty. Good... thing is you can require less salt for most dishes. Read more
