It's McDonald's so nothing fancy but they do a pretty good job most of the time
This place is usually good and it?s been better than as of late. Things have been getting more progressively lackadaisical.... Today they shorted me a hash brown. Which of course I didn?t check the bag because they?re usually better than that. Howeverthey shorted it last time and I caught it in time. It didn't feel quite real. Every chicken product seemed like they were vacuum sealed they were vacuum packed and then... coooked. The interior had a sleek look that appears to have rapidly aged. And to top it off, the register workers gave me thislook that almost seemed to suggest that they were terrified that we would order. However, the service was extremely fast, whichwas very nice. Where to begin! Well let?s see, you walk inside the front door and instantly notice how dirty it is. Then after you self order... because nobody behind the counter knows what they?re doing, you pick up your order. Probably should?ve checked to see that theyforgot half of my order but that?s on me because I didn?t check at the counter that the employees actually knew what they weredoing. Which they do not know what they are doing. Kind of feel sorry for the manager because they are just managing a bunch ofkids it really don?t care and don?t want to be there anyway. So after we got home and realized that the orange drink was puretonic water and no orange syrup, we were missing half of our meal, and the french fries had no salt on them, I decided I bettergo ahead and write this review and add them to my list of never again locations here in Fairfax. I enjoyed this place. The crispy chicken was good. Fries were cold. Lobby needed cleaned.
I haven't been to this McDs in many years. I did notice when this shopping center was going through a remodeling. I didn't... expect this McDs broke away from its traditional decor to something I have never seen before. I recently visited the Big MacMuseum/McDs in PA, and seeing this McDs with its unique decor as well, I love it. All the McDs should have its own decor whichcould turn into a mini tourist attraction while customers dine. I was also very surprised that the lady who took my order wasvery polite and nice. Which is a change from the McDs I frequent. Many McDs employees that I encountered at other McDs appear tohave no customer service skills. I really appreciate that this employee at the McDs made me feel my business is welcome.Thanks!! Read more
We were in the area on a late Oct. Saturday morning to see the club football team game at the nearby univ. I ordered a big Mac... meal and my brother wanted to make use of the McDonalds app for the two dollar Big Mac offer with a win by the hometown NBA teamthe previous night. We asked for the manager to help out with the app offer and after a few short moments had our discount rungup on the register with taxes included, for only $2.31. Three weeks later, we returned back again to the area for a Friday nighthigh school playoff game and made a take out order for the hometown NBA win offer with the app once again for the $2 big Mac.The woman manager didn't bother with ringing our order, 8 let us have the big Mac gratis. Other McDonalds locations aroundnorthern Virginia much closer to D.C. aren't of any help at all with that $2 big Mac offer, so I wanted to be certain tocompliment this location for its help with the offer.
