If you are craving a nice warm bowl of ramen soup, this is the place to go!! We have tried many different ramen places and this... place does stand out. They offer a variety of ramen and side dishes. Their broth is very authentic. We will definitely returnfor more. Read more

We?ve been going to Marumen for about 8 years.. they always have friendly service and have great food. Their karage chicken is... the best, $7 for a huge portion!! You can ask for sauces on the side for kids. We usually get 1 miso ramen for the kids to share(leftover for me) and spicy miso ramen for the hubby. They are all delicious.. except it?s too salty for me and the kids so Ialways ask for hot water and add to the soup. It?s probably best bang for your buck ramen place around the area! *plenty offood pics on Google already so took pics of the restaurant and the bill* Read more

First time for me after personal recommendation from others. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. An authentic... experience when compared to ramen I have had in Japan over the years. Read more

Pros: Not your typical ramen restaurant decor. Also came with good service. The edamame small dish served at the beginning was a... nice touch. The flavor of the chashu was amazing. Their spicy soup base had the right kind of spicy. The eel role was probablythe best one I had in the DMV area. However? Cons: Chashu was very fatty. Noddle was undercooked even when I asked them tocook longer for mine since I like my noddle to be on the softer end. I biggest issue was the soup base. I love tonkotsu soupbase, but based on the menu, didn?t seem they have one. I asked the waitress and she promised that the first four ramen choiceson the menus were all tonkotsu soup base. After I had the first sip of my soup base, I knew it was not tonkotsu based or atleast they didn?t do it the right way. Read more

The waiter was so nice, friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. The food looked great, but it tasted OK. I ordered the... Braised Short Rib Ramen and added Chashu (3 layer pork) and Shitake mushrooms. The shitake was delicious. It was tempura. TheChashu was good but needs more flavor/seasoning. The short ribs didn't have anything but it's natural meat flavor. The brothwasn't what I expected and the Ramen was OK. Maybe the Ramen is more of Japanese style? I love the Korean Spicy Seafood Noodlesoup, at Kung Chon, much better. Unfortunately, the flavor is not for me. I do recommend trying it for yourself. After all, theoverall experience was good.
