Tacos Catrachos! La Campensina serves delicious food with unique options, drawing on Salvador, Tex-Mex, and other cultures, such... as their hella good Tacos Catrachos (Honduran Tacos). We came for their fresh margaritas other reviewers posted about? they didnot disappoint, La Campensina is now our favorite spot for traditional margaritas that remind us of that time we were sippingmargs in Mexico! ???? Oh, and they have great happy hour deals on them too, 3-7pm daily! Wife loves their frozen lime & sangriafrozen margarita swirl. I go for either the classic lime margarita, grande of course, or a artisanal Mezcal margarita. We alsohighly recommend their empanadas (chicken fried turnovers), Pollo con Tajadas (think loaded plantain fries) ????, and of coursetheir Honduran Tacos. Came to town for a family event and decided to get a late brunch here. Food was great, we order some huevos rancheros y Desayuno... Salvadoreño. The steak was well done and los maduros nicely done. We also took some flan and orchata home was sweet tasting.Service was great, they kept checking in to ensure all was good while we were outdoors. Will be coming back when we visit townagain. Alert Hidden gem! Came across this restaurant while picking up some groceries from a store in the same shopping complex and... decided to give it a try for dinner that evening. It's small family owned business and the chef personally came to us and helpedus choose the items from their menu. We ordered Cheese and beans papusas , fried plantain for appetisers,spinach enchiladas andchicken chimichanga for the main course. Evening we ate was lip smacking delicious especially the appetisers. Their portionswere good sized and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and cheerful. I will definitely recommend trying thisrestaurant. Read more
