We ordered to go and waited inside the restaurant. We always try to use the bathroom in places to get a sense of the cleanliness... and while the women's restroom was fine, the men's restroom had wet and dirty floors, no paper, and looked like it had not beencleaned in a while. A closer look at the rest of the restaurant leads to a similar conclusion... Dirty and dusty lightingfixtures, cobwebs in corners, grimy looking floors, back tables of the restaurant used as cluttered storage space. Food tastedokay (we ordered two noodle dishes and a fried rice)-- the beef was a little tough but the veggies were cooked and seasoned welland the fried rice had a good amount of meat and veggies mixed in. The vermicelli dish was kind of bland. Portion sizes were alittle small relative to the price. Not sure we will be back unfortunately. Read more
I fell for the 4.6 stars and over 350 reviews. The food is average at best but is WAY overpriced. Their pho brothe was more oily... than your average pho place. The vermicelli was fine and the spring rolls were not greasy. Their coffee was just okay. I willnever go back to this place. Nothing wrong but their prices are way too high when their food is just average at best. Read more

Decent Vietnamese restaurant in main street ! We tried lunch special combo which gives you one selection of entree, spring... rolls or gardens, and one soft drinks. The pho was flavorful but the portion was pretty tiny. They don't have a designatedparking lot so parking can be little challenge. Overall decent Vietnamese restaurant ! Read more

I chose this restaurant based upon the reviews here and was very disappointed. Although there were only a few occupied tables, I... waited a full 10 minutes for the server to take my order. For the first time at a Vietnamese restaurant, I always order thesame thing: summer rolls & grilled pork vermicelli. Both were a disappointment at EastWind. The summer rolls were bland andgummy. They were stuck together, which made me wonder how long they had been sitting around. The peanut sauce was equally uninspired, and the skimpy portion left half of one roll un-sauced. Half the pleasure of a well-prepared summer roll is thepeanut sauce - not here! The grilled pork was fatty and flavorless, and the portion was smaller than I expected. I wasreminded of that Woody Allen quip "The food here is terrible, and the portions are so small." The server who had ignored mewhile I was waiting to order then dumped the bill at the table while I was still eating, before I had even thought of asking forit. As another reviewer noted, the restroom was quite dirty. The floor was grimy (as it was throughout the restaurant) and bothsoap and paper towels were lacking. Had I seen this before eating, I would have walked out. Skip this place and go to one ofthe excellent establishments at Eden Center. Read more
