Good and unique tasting salads. The pina colada was also really good. My favorite bite was the beef empanada. It tasted so... authentic. They also do cocktails, which we didn’t get to try and yet the menu looked amazing. Read more

We had a Colada Shop location closer to our home that we frequented until its closure a few years ago. We miss having it around... but the next best thing is to travel to Mosaic for our Cuban cuisine fix. You can\'t really go wrong with anything on theirmenu, but I highly recommend the Cuban sandwich. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the pork wastender and flavorful. It\'s a filling meal in itself, but order it with the plantain chips and you\'re in for a real treat. Wealso love their guava and cheese pastelitos and coffee drinks. Service is top notch, even though it\'s quick service, our serverbrought our order out to our table despite the lunch rush. Its location is adjacent to Bloomie\'s with direct access to thestore inside. Parking is at the multiple parking garages in the area, so expect a short 5 minute walk. Can\'t wait to visitagain! The waitress was nice and cute. She offered me another coffee without charge after she saw me a little disappointed of another... drink i ordered because it was only usually half filled and didn\'t taste like how i was expecting. It was my fault because ididn\'t listen to her to what she suggested.\nOverall the customer service was top notch. Very important element in doingbusiness. Read more

My partner and I were happy in the surprise we had at finding this Colada shop after our go-to in Sterling was closed!\n\nThis... is a great spot to eat at as there is plenty of outdoor seating and a lot to do in mosaic district. The seating tables all haveQR codes designated to that specific table. You can easily scan and order right off the bat! We came on a busy sunday afternoonand our food was ready by 15 mins passing.\n\nI absolutely recommend getting the cuban sandwich and trying their plantain chipswith the blackbean dip!! We did notice they changed the bread to a much more fluffier baguette kind.\n\nWill absolutely comeagain Read more

Oh my gosh, first of all customer service is a 10! It was our first time here, we had many questions and Franklin and Leticia... were so patient and helpful with beautiful smiles on their face. The food was delicious, and I’ll definitely be back for thebeef empanadas and shaken mango mint tea ???????? Thank you for making this a pleasant visit for my family and I. We also had asandwich and cafe con leche! Yum! Read more

I had a Colada Shop Cubanó sandwich with a side of green salad. Both of them were delicious. This is the best Cuban café in... downtown Fairfax that I’ve been to! Apparently, it’s a Mom and Pop operation, which is why service was a little slow, so ittook 15-20 minutes for my food to arrive. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed eating Cuban Cuisine on a fine December day! Also, whenfood is made slowly, that’s how you know it’s made with love! For dessert, I had a small but scrumptious Duce de Lechebrownie sundae! The service is great, the employees were friendly and made sure that we had exactly what we wanted! This wouldbe a six-star review, (as if that will ever exist) had they brought utensils with the meal I’ve ordered. Overall, a funexperience, as Cuban (party) music was played in the background! It’s a really clean place with a clothes store within thecafé, so you can do your shopping without even leaving the building! Comfortable seating at the window, so you can we watch theresidents of Downtown Fairfax go about their daily lives! There were a couple of pretty-looking works of art on the walls aswell! Read more

Located inside of Bloomies, has indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately gets low marks due to not having vegan items aside... from a couple salads for lunch and oatmeal for breakfast. Read more

I tried the empanadas here, they were a bit smaller than I am use to and had a very flaky exterior. I purchased the bacon, egg... and cheese empanada in which they would have just called it the egg empanada because it has 5% cheese and bacon and wasoverwhelmingly egg as you can see. The spinach and cheese empanada was mainly spinach. I also had a sweet cheese and it wasabsolutely delectable. I was let down by the bacon, egg and cheese empanada and that is why I took a star off. The pastries hereare delicious though and I definitely recommend trying some. Read more
